These polk set ups are great value for money with excellent sound. I started with the sound bar which is great on its own then added the sub and wow it really is like being at the cinema. Get this set up I recommend 👌

Felt inclined to leave a review for the fantastic Polk React as I now have 2, one in the living room and bedroom. Both hooked up using HDMI ARC and sounding fantastic whether watching or movie or listening to music via internet radio or Spotify Connect. Firstly, this device looks and feels very premium and punches well above its current price tag. The design is stylish yet understated and the fabric grille covering is of great quality. The included wall spacers, template, HDMI and optical cable are nice touches so you’re ready to go straight away however you chose to set this Soundbar up. Like other reviewers, this failed to connect via Alexa using the scannable code on the back of the device, but a second manual search had this showing up in my available devices and connected shortly afterwards. Back to the sound there are 4 different modes - music, movie, sports, and night. I tend to leave the soundbar in movie and have been pleased with the sound without feeling inclined to tinker. That said, the night movie would be useful so as not to disturb other occupants/neighbours etc as this can pack a punch and get quite loud on its own. What’s also appreciated is the voice adjustment, essentially a treble booster as sometimes dialogue is not clearly heard when using streaming services on TV speakers. Alexa has no difficulty hearing and responding to my commands thanks to the 4 microphone holes on top centre. I love how this looks like an old school echo here too. A nice blue light bar illuminate at the front too so you’re know you’re being heard. This will essentially perform any task an Echo speaker can carry out such as turning on and off lights/smart plugs, adjusting the heating etc, setting alarms and timers, with the added benefit of great sound quality with plenty of volume. This system is also expendable by the means of a matching subwoofer and rear surrounds. Not many systems offer this route, most choosing to be bundled with the subwoofer on purchase or acting as a permanent 2.0 setup. Despite being very pleased with the sound quality on its own, I may investigate expanding the system further down the line, I am confident the other speakers will work as well and sound as good as the main unit. If I could draw on some minor criticisms, it’s the remote control buttons that have a flat recessed feel to them and are difficult to operate and find in the dark for example. Luckily, using HDMI my tv remote will control the volume of the Polk react and of course speaking to alexa will take care of this as well (volume runs 0-100). Sadly as well this will not work with Apple Music like other echo speakers well - something I knew before purchasing but worth bearing in mind if that is your choice of streaming service. For me, Spotify is seamless and I can control by voice or the iOS app on my iPhone. I really think the Polk react is a good buy, an underrated device if you will. Not wanting to go the expensive of Bose or Sonos, I’m convinced you will not find better for the price. I also appreciate having the same device in both rooms as I tend to alternate my TV viewing between these.

Had these speakers for a week and I am delighted with them a perfect accompaniment for my Maxfi Soundbar and Sub woofer. Having changed over from Sonos the three HDMI + eARC ports were a no brainer for me. Would highly recommend this setup.

Complemento per sistema soundbar Polk. Con questi diffusori ( coppia ) il Dolby Atmos raggiunge UN suono immersivo notevolmente efficace e potente. Regolazione del volume semplice e independente. Connessione wifi al sistema veloce senza noiose complicazioni. Good job Polk!
