So I’m still fairly new to 2 part resin, but even after watching tons of YouTube videos, this resin, even when warmed up, never would mix right. Had to throw it out. But the extra stuff is great!

I was very happy to be able to purchase this kit I actually purchased 2 for my 2 nieces the one was in perfect condition the second one not so much the mica powders were open and all over the place it was one big mess. Will do some serious consideration before I purchase another kit.

If you’re a beginner this is the kit for you. Beautiful decorations, resin the is awesome for mid range price. The learning booklet though is kinda weak, for a expensive kit, but for beginners it will do. The resin does not have a nasty smell. That is one of the best part. I have gotten resin that smells so bad, even with well ventilation it made me sick. Only problem is with the resin it is very sticky when trying to clean up. Rubbing alcohol is what your supposed to use but it just does work well. The mixture is also not forgiving. If it is just a bit off, in the ratio it won’t dry. Which it hard on beginners.

I’ve used resin before (Amazing ClearCast, I think it is called), but this was a bummer. On the second round of mixing, I discovered one bottle (presumably hardener) was kinda congealed, which obviously led to items not hardening. I used some of the plastic-based decorations and the lines around them are evident, so it looks terrible (and of course the pieces didn’t properly cure, so there’s that). Not sure if it’s because of shipping and warm weather (ordered early September in USA), or maybe product was old? In any case, I got little bang for the buck.
