Honestly there’s not a lot negative to say about this supplement itself. It seemed perfectly fine during the time I used it. The capsules were easy enough to take, the dosage was straightforward, and overall it fit easily into a daily supplement routine without any issues. One thing I appreciated is that NOW Foods generally seems pretty consistent with simple no-nonsense supplements instead of drowning everything in flashy marketing hype. The selenium form used here also appeared to be one of the more commonly recommended versions instead of some mystery blend ingredient situation. I mainly used this as part of a broader vitamin and mineral stack while focusing more on overall health and nutrition habits. At this point though, it’s simply no longer part of my current supplement stack after reorganizing and simplifying things a bit. Overall, I had no real problems with the product itself and it seemed like a solid straightforward selenium supplement during use.

I have been taking this specific Selenium (200mcg) consistently since summer 2025 (it is March 3rd 2026, as I write this). I have hashimotos and read online that Selenium can protect your thyroid. I did not expect much from it, but I am pleasantly surprised to see such a reduction in my antibodies. It went down ~32%. I did not cut anything else out. When I got my initial TPO result of 1629.88 I was not eating gluten STRICTLY for ~7 months. I reintroduced gluten after and have been eating it normally for months now and still saw a reduction in my TPO. I do take Levothyroxine, but was triggered to test my antibodies when I saw my TSH slightly elevate again. I thought surely my TPO were about to be crazy. They're still high ASF, but it's heading in the right direction. I've recently purchased myo-inositol to take with this Selenium. Fingers crossed.
