I love how warm & soft the robe is to wear. It keeps me really warm. I especially like the zipper so I don’t have to pull it over my head and send static through my hair. It appears to be good quality at this point.

I bought my first blanket hoodie about 5 years ago, shortly after I first noticed it on Amazon. I had been looking for something to wrap up in during the cold winter months so I could be comfortable without having to turn up the thermostat. The first winter I used it sporadically, leaving it near my lounge chair so I could grab it whenever I got too chilly. At the beginning of the next winter I changed tactics and started wearing it all the time. Why wait until I had gotten chilly? The only time I wasn't wearing it was when it had to go into the laundry. I was in love with it and decided I wanted a second one so I didn't have to spend laundry day without it. I went back and tried to order another one but, alas, they were out of stock. I kept checking back but had no luck. The next winter I started looking for another brand but nothing seemed to be up to the quality of the first one. Finally this year during the October Prime Days I spotted one for a very low price and ordered it. It was something of a disappointment and although I decided to use it as a robe, it wasn't close to what I wanted as an all day, every day garment that I could snuggle up in and be cozy and comfortable all winter long.I went looking again and settled on this one. I'm in love. It was delivered yesterday and I haven't been out of it since (Yes, I slept in it!!). I am short 5'2" and heavy 260#; my arms and legs are short for my torso so I'm careful about what I buy. This blanket hoodie is oversized but it doesn't get in my way when I need to do something. I carry a lot of weight in my hips and thighs and this garment gives me an abundance of room in those areas.I will take it off when I am working at the stove, just like I do with my first one. The sleeves are way too long for me but the cuffs are comfortable and keep them in place and out of my way. The material both inside and outside is soft and luxurious. The length is about to my knees. The 2 pockets are huge and deep enough that I don't worry about things dropping out of them. I was actually looking for a pullover style rather than zippered but those are getting harder to find with the other features I wanted. I'll just leave it zipped and use it as a pullover. The weight of the fabric is not quite as heavy as I wanted but is more than adequate. Most of the blanket hoodies have huge hoods that fit very loosely. With my first one I started turning the edge back to make a cuff. This tightened it up enough that it stayed put. This one has an added feature that I wasn't expecting but I really like. 4" above the top of the zipper are 2 small magnets, one on the edge of each side of the hood. Place them together and they tighten up the edge of the hood perfectly. At first they appeared too small to have enough pull to stay together but that has not been the case.Of course I haven't yet laundered it but I don't anticipate any problems. Other microfiber garments I have launder well and retain their shape and fit (I launder in cold water and dry on the lowest setting or on air dry.) If I do run into any problems I'll post an addendum.Last year I gave a blanket hoodie to a friend as a Christmas present. She adores it but I wish I had waited until I found this one.

So soft and warm. It's big on me so I can wear over sweatshirts or other clothes. Love these...I bought two.

This is my 3rd coat/blanket. People tell me all the time, I wish I had that coat, as they are shivering!!

I've been enjoying my soft "Green Camper" Blanket Hoodie. I prefer the ZIPPER version of Catalonia...Because it's easier to regulate temperature and when too warm, to simply unzip front a ways to be less steamy. Also easier to put on and off then pulling heavy hoodie on over one's head.The big pouch pockets are also Sherpa lined so hands aren't cold. The Green Camper print is of higher end velour.I ordered second Navy blanket hoodie for my son and he is always wearing it instead of his robe. He is an artist and likes the sleeves can be pushed up to draw, while his robe sleeves are too bulky to wear.So I took the plunge and bought 2 Dalmation zip hoodies as gifts. And one arms in blanket red and black plaid. Heard no complaints.Now have purchase the animal print Cheetah and was let down...->the Sherpa lining is much thinner grade of Sherpa and the velour print is Not as lush as the Green Camper print.I posted a photo. Sadly the thick coziness is just not there without the thicker Sherpa and thinner velour. Loses One Star for this cheaper fabric choices.So Cheetah and thin Sherpa goes back.Sorry Catalonia-- thinner Cheetah's a fail!Will try to get a second Green Camper print so spouse can have same coziness and warmth I enjoy.

I have drafty windows and I keep my thermostat low at night so to stay warm I’ve been using a blanket, but it wasn’t really convenient for moving around the house so I got this and it’s great. The 3 inch cuffs are very comfortable on the wrist and keep the long sleeves at bay. If my hands get cold, I can simply tuck them in my sleeves. They’re long enough to cover my hands. I normally wear a 3X and this one-size-fits-all is roomy and goes down to my knees, overall I’m very happy with this purchase. I like the zipper as it makes it easy to take off and on and sometimes I get so warm I have to unzip it to cool off. I would buy this again. I will say that the pockets could be better.
