These sounds as Good as any other gel. The clear gel looks good on clear heads. And only sticky on one side. They make tuning a little easier as you can remove high ringing. These fit perfectly on snares and toms. I have been cutting them in half on smaller toms like 12” and smaller and function pretty well. They can start to yellow over time. And the adhesive is not quit as good as drum dots or moon type gels.

I have used everything from tape to Moongels. I have found quite a few products that I like over the years and thought I'd try something different. When you play a lot in shows that have several bands in a night, you find yourself using the house kit more than you really want. In such cases, you find yourself having to give the set a quick tune and often you toss a damper on. You also find yourself going through dampers like crazy. I really like Moongels but, it was costing me a fortune. So, I tried these dampers and didn't expect much for the price. I was surprised that they work well. You get a ton of them for around the cost of a 6 pack of Moongels. These dampers do the job and they can be taken off one drum and used on another. I liked everything about these. They even package these nicely. They come in a box and are on sheets of six each. I cut the sheets into six pieces and store them in a Moongel container. This way, I always have some with me. I throw a couple of sheets in my stick bag just in case. I'll admit that these dampers aren't top of the line but, they really do a nice job. I'm going to stick with these for a while. I suggest that you try them and if you aren't happy just use them for emergencies.

Great when you want to buy a bunch. They come off a bit too easily but stay on when on the top of a drum.

Perfect for the job and the adhesive really adheres to the drum skin and holds for months.

These things really don't stick like regular moongels or drum dots or them sticky toys. The adhesive is very weak. I tried using them and right away they came flying off after a hit. It'll only stick if you leave them on the drums after a while.Might as well get them sticky toys for real, since they actually stick and as durable as moongels for much cheaper.

I like the clear type, and the adhesive stays usable when transferring from one drum head to another. And you get a lot with many to spare!

These are only sticky on one side, and they're kind of thin. So you may need to use more for the same effect. Moon gels or Vater Buzz Kills (my preference) are better, but these are great for the shared practice kit at my rehearsal space..... Yeah, that's what I thought until one week later when I learned that they no longer stick, like pretty much at all! A couple hits on the drum and these literally fell off! Do not buy!
