Easy and economical to grow
When I first started buying wheatgrass for my pet 10 years agoโweekly at $3/potโI remember calling the grower who was local and asking how much it was to buy seeds. He told me it was more economical to buy from the store and I didnโt question it. Iโve since moved and the one store near me that carried it closed last month. Turns out that first guy fibbed and itโs waaaaay more economical to grow your own, not to mention quick and easy. I followed the directions on the package and had sprouted seeds in less than 48 hours. I then moved the pot under a grow light and had 3โ tall grass within 3 days. At $10 for this bag of seeds, Iโm going to get a lot more than 3.334 pots (I just reuse the 3โx3โ pots from the ones I bought at the store). Lesson learned. My bag arrived on Aug 18. Itโs Aug 26 as Iโm writing this review and I already have a plant for my pet. These are good, quality seeds.

Beautiful healthy with many different colors and variety
I purchased HER ME GROWN zinnia dahlia seeds that year and planted this year. They grew beautifully, big and healthy. So I purchased 2 more packs this year. I highly recommend these seeds. I live in zone 5b.

Purfect
I ordered the HOME GROWN Cat Grass Seeds 16 oz, Oat & Barley Mix, Easy to Grow for 9.99 for 16 oz. And it delivered. My cat began chewing on it with in 7 to 8 days. This grows fast. I layer the dirt down and a thin layer of seed. Wetted the dirt. But not soagy. Let go a few days and add just little more water as I wanted the dirt moist not soggy. I bought the cat grass container and off another site . And flipped the top part upside down till the sprouts started to grow. As the dirt and seeds do not allow the top price to fit back on top. I used duct tape split in half to keep the two pieces together till the sprouts grew enough. This is just how I did it.. I really am surprised at how well the seeds grew

Read this review.
I really wanted to love this indoor/outdoor grass-growing kit, but unfortunately, my experience with it was extremely disappointing. I purchased this specifically for my 4ยฝ-month-old kitten because I thought it would be a fun and healthy little project for her to have some grass of her own to nibble on. I liked the idea of being able to grow it myself and have a fresh supply available for her.I decided to plant the seeds outside, thinking they would have plenty of natural light and that growing them outdoors would give them the best possible chance. Unfortunately, hardly any of the seeds germinated or grew for me.I didnโt expect every single seed to grow into a perfect, full container of grass, but I absolutely expected a much better result than what I got. The amount that actually grew was so sparse that it wasnโt really worth the effort. Now, I do want to be fair because this has been an awful gardening year for me in general. My regular garden didnโt do well either, and my harvest was terrible this year. So initially, I wondered if the poor results were simply because of the growing conditions this season. I donโt want to blame a product for something that could potentially be caused by weather or other environmental factors. However, there is another important piece of information that I think is relevant when reviewing this product: I am a serious plant enthusiast and have more than 300 indoor plants. I have been growing plants for quite some time and am very comfortable caring for them. I know how to start plants from seed, I understand germination requirements, and I know how to care for seedlings once they emerge. In other words, I am not someone who randomly sprinkled seeds somewhere and forgot about them.I followed the general growing process and gave these seeds an honest opportunity. Unfortunately, the results were still extremely poor. That is what makes this purchase so frustrating. I purchased this kit because I wanted something simple and reliable for my kitten. I didnโt need a complicated gardening project. I just wanted to grow some grass that she could safely enjoy. Instead, I ended up with very little growth. The concept of this product is great. I actually really like the idea behind it. Having a little indoor/outdoor grass kit specifically for pets is something I think many cat owners would enjoy. Cats can be very interested in grass, and having the ability to grow fresh grass at home is convenient. If the seeds had germinated and produced a nice, healthy patch of grass, I would have been thrilled with this purchase.Unfortunately, the execution just wasnโt there for me.I also donโt want anyone reading this review to think Iโm saying that absolutely no one will be able to grow these seeds. Obviously, growing conditions vary, and some people may have a completely different experience. But Iโm reviewing my actual experience with the product, and my results were simply not good.I planted the seeds outdoors and waited, hoping they would eventually take off. Instead, only a very small amount grew. Considering the entire purpose of the kit is to provide grass, I found the poor germination rate to be a major problem. And yes, I realize that gardening isnโt always predictable. Seeds donโt always germinate, weather can affect growth, temperatures fluctuate, and sometimes plants simply donโt cooperate. As someone with more than 300 plants, I completely understand that. Thatโs actually why I tried to give this product the benefit of the doubt. But when I purchase a seed-growing kit, I expect the seeds themselves to have a reasonable chance of germinating when given appropriate conditions. Unfortunately, that wasnโt my experience here.My kitten is still young at 4ยฝ months old, and I was really looking forward to watching her discover and enjoy the grass. Instead, there simply wasnโt enough growth to make the kit useful for that purpose. For me, the biggest issue is the poor germination and extremely sparse growth. If I had gotten a thick, healthy patch of grass and my kitten just didnโt like it, that would be completely different. At least then I could say the product worked and my kitten simply wasnโt interested. Unfortunately, I never really got to that point because there wasnโt enough grass to begin with.I also think the product could be improved by providing clearer information about seed quality, germination expectations, and ideal growing conditions. If there are very specific temperature, moisture, soil, or light requirements, those need to be clearly explained so customers have the best possible chance of success.Again, I want to emphasize that I am not new to growing plants. I have a large indoor plant collection of 300+ plants, and growing from seed is not something Iโm unfamiliar with. I know that plants require patience and proper care, and Iโm more than willing to put in the effort when Iโm growing something.Thatโs why I was particularly disappointed with this kit.Maybe I simply received a bad batch of seeds. Maybe the growing conditions this year played a role. Maybe others will have better luck. I canโt say for certain what caused the poor germination in my case. What I can say is that I purchased the kit, planted the seeds outdoors, cared for them, and hardly anything grew. For a product whose entire purpose is to grow grass, thatโs a pretty significant problem.I really wish I could give this a better review because I genuinely wanted this to work. I thought it would be an inexpensive and enjoyable way to grow something specifically for my kitten. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I canโt recommend it.1 star from me. The idea is good, but the results were nowhere near what I expected. With better-quality seeds and a much more reliable germination rate, this could be a really useful product for cat owners. Unfortunately, I didnโt get that experience.

Fast-growing, healthy grass
Only two of my cats really like this grass, but that's okay. One of them can't go outside because he gets too much anxiety to be harness trained, so it's good for him to get some. The other is so happy to have it he chowed down day after day.The instructions were clear. I used the Cat Lady's dirt pucks I read someone else here recommend (6 pucks became a large tub full, and I still have 6 and lots of grass seed left after this first growth). It sprouted shockingly fast in the cabinet! I covered it with a sheet of tin foil (as I was out of plastic wrap), which was easy to let up and let breathe, and kept the humidity in. It was a great value for the money, and it's been quite durable, surviving lots of munching, so I'm impressed with that. It appears a little pale in the pictures because it had yet to get sunlight, lol. It greened up nicely from the sunlight in the one bathroom window we could keep the cats out of to let it finish growing. Highly recommend.

Germinates well, would recommend
These are some good quality heirloom seeds. I had successful germination for 4 out of 6 of these seeds- basil, spearmint , green onions and red chilli. However, cilantro and rosemary did not sprout. The cilantro in this photo is a different seed brand. Basil and spearmint had the fastest germination rate within 7-10 days in mid July. These are my plans in September and the growth is amazing! I harvest basil, mint, spring onions every week.

Love Zinnias!
I love zinnias, so I was excited to try these! The package comes with 300 seeds, which is a really generous amount, especially for the price. I also like that they're heirloom and non-GMO. The Oklahoma variety has beautiful, smaller blooms that are perfect for adding color to flower beds or using in fresh-cut arrangements. One thing I was particularly impressed with was the packaging. The bag itself is made from a nice, thick, durable material and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. It seems sturdy enough to hold up well in storage, and I don't anticipate having any issues keeping my leftover seeds in their original packaging rather than transferring them to another container. That's a nice bonus, especially when you're getting this many seeds and probably won't use them all at once.I did plant some of these, but unfortunately, my gardening skills could use a little work. LOL! They didn't survive, but I genuinely don't believe that was an issue with the seeds themselves. I don't exactly have a green thumb, so I'm not going to hold my lack of gardening abilities against the product! -- They didn't take long to germinate or long to start growing tall, but again... This has been a learnign experience for me, this isn't something to hold against the seeds.I also appreciate that there are plenty of seeds left for another attempt. I haven't been able to judge their long-term growth or flowering performance yet, but I'm happy with the quantity, packaging quality, and overall presentation.Overall, I'm pleased with these seeds! You get a generous amount, durable packaging that's convenient for storage, and a beautiful flower variety. Hopefully, my next attempt goes a little better because I'd love to have these growing in my yard!

Fast growing
Seeds grow fast in a hydroponic type of tray. Germinate in water for about 6 hours, transfer to tray and within 24 hours they start to grow. Half of the seeds don't grow even in soil though. Would like to get more growth out of them. But my cats love it.

Not much success so far
Sowed the seeds in the middle of June so maybe they'll show up next year. The only thing that has sprung up 2 months later are about a dozen 8" high small white flowers. We've successfully planted many wildflowers over the years so we're hoping the late sowing is the answer. I'll update this in October.
