The perfume is oil-based and made in the Caribbean Islands. It has a beautiful powder scent and makes you smell fresh all day. I only apply it twice a day. It is a really good perfume. I only wear designer brands bought gave this a try one day and I use it a few times a week so that my very expensive perfume is not wasted. Try it you will not regret it. For the money what do you have to lose? Hope this helps!
