Instructions have some mistakes but beautiful unit once assembled and well worth the price!!
I wanted to write an in depth review as I've seen a few people confused about the instructions which although I found the unit very easy to put up, there are some mistakes which I've scanned for you to show so you can see before you buy. Please bare in mind I've not done any review on the lights as I'm not using these lights. I have seen the reviews here in regards to these and I use Philips Hue in my home which I would recommend to anyone (they are expensive but are absolutely worth it in so many ways) though one thing I will say is that the lights DO come with a USB to connect so they are NOT missing a plug. This is the way things are being made now as the old 3 pin style plugs are phasing out for USB which is safer and you'll also find most extensions now and even new wall sockets are changing over to USB, so this is not a mistake by the company who make this unit. I'll go through the whole experience so you can kindly see what works for you and hopefully this will help before you buy. Delivery - Amazon were absolutely fantastic as always!!! The unit was delivered on time, with care and the delivery men brought it to the home easy and on time. The delivery of the item was absolutely fine though I had to get another unit delivered a couple of days after (which I'll explain) and both times the delivery was absolutely fantastic with the second one bringing into the home asking me where I wanted it, they were fantastic both times!! Unboxing - So as always with flat pack items I recommend you getting all the pieces together, going through the instructions and making sure all the pieces are there so it's easier for you to assemble. Getting it out of the box wasn't the easiest so make sure you have the box the right way round so you can carefully open it to get the pieces out as sliding them through the end is hard, plus you've probably not got enough room either to do so, so getting it out can be a bit challenging if you don't open it this way. It turned out some pieces was missing or so I thought (I'll explain later) and the instructions do have some mistakes which I'll also note below and upload some pictures of the instructions to make it easier for people before they buy and when they're putting the unit up which will hopefully save you some time. Instructions - To be honest they're not too bad but they do have some mistakes which can baffle you and become misleading. I ended up having to get a whole new unit delivered because I thought some screws were missing as according to the instructions you're supposed to have 55 of the D piece screws yet I only had 52, so of course I called Amazon to ask about getting some replacement screws and didn't set up the unit due to being short (or so I thought as after I had assembled the unit I ended up with 3 screws spare). Because of this Amazon said the only way to replace the missing pieces was to have a complete unit delivered again, which was a bit of a pain (not Amazon's fault, they don't make the units) so I had to wait a couple of days before I could put the unit up with the pieces displayed together in my room though when I did get the second unit delivered and took the bag of screws out, I ended up with 3 spare screws at the end which meant the instructions were wrong telling me I needed 55 and I could have put the unit up the first day I received it. I also looked up the company and called them but the answer machine said it was for business calls only and if you were a customer to email the customer service team, which I did to let them know I'd just bought the unit and if they could be so kind to send the missing screws. I never got a reply so had to just go with the second until delivered from Amazon to get the missing screws. The handles that go on the cupboard have no stickers to let you know what piece they are however if you look at the instructions on page 3 there is a part labelled G which looks like a small bar and two screws (bare in mind G is one of the stickers on the really small bag with the screws, nails and pieces in). Those two small bar pieces are the big handles which would not only be impossible to fit into the bag but is misleading cause it makes it look like there's two screws and two little bar pieces for something but there isn't, it's basically 4 of the little screws which go into the handle that's inside the bag and that little bar on the drawing IS the handles, very misleading and confusing but this also should save you some time as it baffled me until I clicked that these were the handles as noted on page 5 of the instructions (but again, the handles aren't labelled at all). Assembly - I know not everyone is good with flat pack items so I understand completely how this can be different for people however I honestly found this very easy to set up, once I'd worked out the mistakes in the instructions it was very easy and straight forward. I don't see myself as being the best at this kind of stuff to be honest, I'm pretty average depending on the unit and it took me around 3 hours to do on my own with having to work things out. The only mistake I made, almost, was the back cover piece with the holes for the wires to go through and it's probably only me that would make this mistake haha however I almost accidentally put the back piece on the wrong way round meaning the brown wood piece would have been showing through the front, this was because I was so used to putting the black sides to the outside that I realised as I almost nailed it on that this one piece the black sides goes on the inside because it's the part that goes at the back of the unit, again that was probably just my silliness and of course when you're constantly thinking doing these things you can sometimes get these things wrong so it would have been better if the instructions showcased this however again, it's pretty obvious really and that was just my mistake completely though I thought it's worth mentioning as this piece does go with the black (or white if you have the white unit) to the inside. Also the nails at the back that you put on the back board it asks you to nail loads, including into the middle pieces which is impossible because you can't nail the board at the back and see where the slim parts of the two pieces in the middle are (pieces 1 and 2 on the instructions). You'd end up missing the slim part and making loads of holes in the board or slightly missing the slim part of the two pieces and ruining the finish on each side if you don't get it centered, so I never bothered trying to put the nails there BUT to be fair, the board holds on really nicely and securely with the nails so you really don't need to put them all in in my opinion. The hardest part really was probably attaching the doors to the unit with the hinges but even that wasn't hard really, it's just cause I was on my own trying to hold it that's all however all the pieces fit nicely and easily too into the unit, it's actually really good how they've done it to be honest and pretty easy to do. All in all I found it very easy and straight forward to assemble, it's only 8 different steps (not including the lights) so with the mistakes in the instructions sorted out, it then became quite easy to be honest. Unit - The unit is very well made, very sturdy and lovely too! I REALLY like the fact they have holes for the wires also inside the cupboards because this make it so much easier to put extensions in and things like that while you set up your unit. The problem with extensions is they can be so bulky at times, specially with those awkward sized plugs so that would mean you'd either have to have the extension on the top of your unit which wouldn't look nice or behind the unit with the unit pushed quite far away from the wall, which again isn't ideal so the fact they have the holes for the wires also inside the cupboards this makes it very easy to set up your equipment with what works best for you. A lot of units don't have this and this can be a huge problem at times so the fact this does is not only very refreshing but it's awesome too!! A really, really great addition to the unit big time!! The little glass shelf that goes in the middle is lovely and very well made! The glass is strong with a good thick build to it as well, I really like it!! I will note however the space isn't the best for some things due to the height of the unit. For example you won't be able to fit an Xbox Series X (well you can but it's literally squashed in the top of the glass and the bottom of the unit so not great) and the same with the BT Broadband router, it's too tall to fit with the glass piece (bare in mind these aren't exactly big either, they're nice little routers what BT give) so although the shelf is lovely with the glass piece, it's very limited in what you can fit there, unless of course you wanted to take the glass piece out completely and just have the open space. The height and size of the unit is actually really nice. I was concerned at first with the unit being so low I wasn't sure whether to purchase due to this however I did think to myself that if I felt the unit was a little too low you can also buy those little feet extenders to make furniture higher however I actually really like it at the height it's at because when you put ornaments or displays on the top of this, it then has them displaying at a nice height too so I actually really like it. Length wise too it's really nice, it's quite long but not too long if you get what I mean. I have a huge 75 to 80 inch TV on the wall above it and it fits so nicely and evenly under this yet leaves enough room for things at the side such as a table or a bin and also means you have more space if a door is near by too, it's a really nice size to be honest and I'm very happy with it. The cupboards as well are a really nice size! The Asterix books you can see are of the size annuals are at Christmas to give you an idea (if you haven't read the Asterix books I really do recommend and same with the original animations, specially the 12 Tasks of Asterix, Asterix in Britain, Asterix and Caesar, Asterix the Gaul etc. they're awesome!! ha) however I did want to kindly give you an idea for the cupboards with the size so people can see. Again, the cupboards also have holes in them for wires to go through which is a really great bonus and can be really helpful for your setup :-) The finish of the wood is lovely, really nicely well made I feel and although the unit does get fingerprints (as black always does) it cleans nicely too so it's not really a problem, it's really nice and I love it to be honest and I do feel it's definitely really well made!! The cupboard doors open and shut nicely, they line up well and fit nicely too. One door I think does have a slightly better open and close than the other but honestly, they're both good and it's nothing really you can even notice unless you really try if you get what I mean :-) I also just want to note the doors are NOT scratched lol This is cellophane to protect them due to them being glossy and shiny, it's pretty obvious really as you can see straight away and removing it was easy to do. Both pieces came off nicely in one piece and the doors looked absolutely lovely underneath so as other reviews have said the doors are scratched, they're not and they look really nice once you take the cellophane off to protect them. Would I recommend - Yes I would!! The price for the unit is absolutely fantastic and it is really well made in my opinion, of course the instructions could be better however once you've managed to work them out from the little mistakes it's very easy to set up and looks absolutely lovely. I hope that me adding the instructions makes it easier for people if they want to buy this and of course when putting the unit up too, it'll hopefully save you time as I needed to have another brand new unit delivered due to thinking there was missing parts which in the end there wasn't, just the instructions told me there was however I do feel flat pack items should come with extra pieces like screws simply because not only can they easily be lost but also sometimes they do have pieces missing, plus as we know nails can bend, screws round off etc. that it should be standard these companies give a few extras for this reason, I'm not saying you should get a box loads of screws but there should be something to make sure people are covered for this reason, and of course to stop any confusion when the instructions tell you that you need more than you really do lol But the unit is nice, is easy to assemble and is absolutely worth the money in my opinion. I would however say invest in Philips Hue for the light strip if you can. I know they are expensive but they are definitely worth it in the long run for longevity, safety and they're really nice and beautiful too. The amount of things you can do with them such as setting the brightness as high and low as you like, 16 million colours to choose from and even have them coming on at a certain time is much better and fits in the theme of your home, however of course I understand not everyone can do this but it's just much better than the low budget light strips these companies often supply so are worth the investment if you can do so :-) I hope this has helped anyway as I really did want to kindly sit and write a nice review to help a few people and do a little video too (the background song is EYC "Number One" by the way lol) as reading the previous reviews I can see mixed vibes on certain things so hopefully this has helped for if anyone is considering buying this unit or not :-) I hope all is well for everyone and sending you lots of love!!

Good product. Part missing. No customer service contact.
Good product, however as other comments suggested, missing parts from packaging. Unfortunately do not see customer service contact details to get the missing parts. The holes provided to put the screws are just marks. Eventually it damages the wood. Can the company please contact me to get the missing DC plug. If the services are improved and assembly instructions detailed clearly, it would be a great product
