I'd call myself a wiring beginner but when my favorite antique lamp started acting "off" I knew it was time to rewire. The hardware matched perfectly to the actual antique metal hardware that stayed on my lamp. I only used the socket and wire from this kit but the instructions were amazing and helped me replace the parts that needed to be replaced. I followed the directions, and the lamp works like it's brand new. This kit was a great value. **Edit to add** since writing this, I have rewired two more antique lamps after purchasing the same kit. It's so simple to fix and I feel much more safe with updated wiring.

This worked great. Super easy to change out the old socket not working. Only thing is it is a bit loose in the socket once set in.

I purchased two kits to repair two table lamps. The kit included everything I needed. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Even with my lack of experience, I was able to easily rewire the lamps. I am enjoying my "refreshed" lamps and feeling very proud that I was able to do this project myself. I did contact the seller and appreciated their prompt response and attention.

The two knurled nuts are missing, and they're challenging to find locally and expensive to source from abroad. Super disappointing experience.

Too many pieces of material.. hard to understand what goes where… Have only half of the pieces if i want a different type of lamp shade holder…
