I bought this for my son's 15th birthday to add to his movie night theme. - easy to put the parts together - works perfectly - comes with measuring cup, measuring spoon and scoop - tastes just like movie popcorn ( we got spray butter and popcorn seasoning a movie theater uses.) - easy to clean Initial assembly was fast and easy. All you have to do is add the cord, kernel hopper, lid and mixer. I had no problem doing this. The instructions were very easy to follow. We have made about 6 batches of popcorn with no burning issues, no staining of the sides. I'm guessing people who have had staining issues haven't read the directions that tell you to clean the machine after use. I can see burning being an issue if someone is lax with cleaning it. Popping was fun. It takes a few minutes for it to heat enough to get the oil hot. Once popping starts it is only a minute or so more depending on how much you're popping. We popped 1 cup and it feeds 4 adults which is the equivalent of about a small popcorn at a theater each. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. I will update this post in another month or so to let everyone know how it is holding up. I do suggest this purchase, it has been a great addition to our movie night and was great for my son's birthday. Update: We have had this for 6 months and it works just as well as the day we bought it. We have used this machine sometimes a few times a week, to a few times a month. We have kept up with cleaning the machine and it has not had any burning issues. The plexiglass sides have not burnt and are still just as clear. I am still very pleased with this purchase and recommend this popcorn machine highly!

Perfect for family nights. Really sets the vibe. Perfect to bring to parties too. Big enough to make a statement. Could break easily if not taken cared of properly, but if treated right, I Don't see a problem. Got it on sale so was worth the money. Heat unit before adding ingredients for more even pop. Instructions are somewhat helpful but there are always learning curves to appliances. Almost all kernels pop each time. Also make sure someone is listening to turn off at right time.

I am usually the popcorn consumer, maybe the wife sometimes in our household, so I didn't want a huge popcorn machine, but also didn't want a tiny one that made a small bowl of popcorn. This popcorn machine does the job, my only regret is that the cheap front plastic panel below the plastic glass front pops off way too easily, and to dump the popper container, you hit a plastic wedge type of thing, and the container drops, dumping most of the popcorn below. What I hate is that you have to move the container up again and try to get it latched. I wish it had a handle outside of the case to just dump and raise to oringal posiition. It's not the companies fault, just my fault for going this route not doing research.

This was a hit for my grandchildren for movie night! They loved it! I forgot to buy the popcorn so we ended up using microwave popcorn and it worked perfectly! Every single kernel was popped! It tasted amazing! The size was perfect and it wasn’t big and bulky! Easy to put together and clean up was easy as well! I’d definitely recommend this for your next event and the price was definitely worth it!

This has been fun to have for movie night. As long as you put 1/2 cup or less corn in it, it works well. It is very difficult to clean. Also the magnetic door doesn’t always stay closed and popcorn can sometimes end up on the floor. This also happens opening the door. The popcorn seems to pile up at the door and when you open the door the popcorn falls out. We do like it. Make sure you have room for this thing. It takes up space. Update 2/10/25. The teflon in the popping pan has been scraping off from the stirring mechanism. Since teflon is a known carcinogen we won’t be using this product anymore. It’s unfortunate that this occurred after the 30 day return window. Seller, would you honor this under warranty ? Update 2/18/25 I had to contact amazon customer service to assist with the return authorization. Despite my making every effort to comply the company charged me $12.26 for a damage fee. Keep in mind that the reason for the return was because I of a defect in the teflon coating that was not the fault of the purchaser. Don’t buy from this seller! Or this manufacturer. If I could give it negative stars I would.

The Big Bambino Old-Fashioned Popcorn Machine has been a great purchase and a fun addition to my home setup. Due to the way they pack a plug without any cover inside the nonstick cooking vessel the surface had a couple of deep scratches before use. The machine works great, and assembled in less than five minutes. Is supposed to be cleaned without even disassembly which is great. Can cook a lot of popcorn too for the size, think two large popcorns from the theater. The machine looks great but just know everything is plastic except the little pot and the arm.

This is a great buy and little addition to the home for fun movie nights with the family or for the person who is not a fan of microwave pop. Not overwhelmingly large, Big enough to fit on a breakfast bar with coffee maker and coffee grinder but totally capable of making two big buckets + of popcorn for the family. Instructions are easy to follow and it gets precisely hot enough to cook the popcorn without giving off excess heat.

Compre esta máquina y la use 2 veces. Desde la primera vez (hice solo una taza una sola vez como prueba) note que quedaba mucho maíz sin reventar, pero no hice caso, al quitar el recipiente donde se pone el maíz, note que la pieza que gira para mover el maíz y que no se queme, estaba rozando el recipiente que es como “el sartén” donde se hacen las palomitas. Igual, era la primera vez y no le di importancia. La segunda vez, hice dos tazas de palomitas o sea, la puse a funcionar dos veces, cabe recalcar que todo lo hice siguiendo las instrucciones al pie de la letra. Me chute el instructivo ENTERITO para evitar un mal funcionamiento. Bueno, pues muchas de las palomas que salieron, estaban a medio reventar, como las que quedan al final cuando haces de bolsa y quedan granitos sin reventar y otros que medio reventaron, así estaba la mayoría. Pero para mi sorpresa cuando retire el recipiente que se calienta, que es como un sartén, tenia al centro unas rayas en círculo, o sea, la pieza que gira para mover el maíz, de nuevo estaba topando en el recipiente, rallándolo todo y quitándole la película antiadherente! En ese momento la empaque y pedí mi reembolso. No tenía ni el mes con ella y nomas la había usado en dos ocasiones y ya estaba así?? Estoy esperando respuesta de Amazon para mi devolución, pero es una lástima, la máquina está padrísima, pero no funciona bien :(
