Ruiandsion LED Torch Light Bulb 1-9V P13.5S LED Bulb 1.5V 3V 4.5V 6V 9V Replacement for Flashlight Lantern Work Light Bulb (Pack of 1)

Fitted into a camping lantern, fitted with 4 NiMh 1.2v batteries*, which now is much brighter! Luckily this lantern has a bulb holder that can be fitted 2 ways - 1 way doesn’t work - hence the negative reviews. Probably LED bulb sellers should make this clear - a normal bulb doesn’t care, but an LED one does. One quick trick which might work if you find the LED bulb not working in a torch - put all the batteries in the other way round. PS I only use AA rechargeable batteries, but some lights like this camping lantern use C or D cells. You can find some AA battery packs for sale that include C and D cell sleeves, which I find work well. So you don’t need to keep any strange size batteries!

Bought this to replace an older (almost 18 year old) Maglite bulb which had not worked for years. Works perfect, better light than original bulb that was fitted when it was working. Now that I know it works I will purchase some more to keep spares to keep this torch running for years to come!

It is a nice bright bulb, but I bought it to replace the original bulb in my old work lantern which has a press-on press-off switch. The led bulb will only work if I keep the switch depressed. Not much use in a work lantern, so the old bulb went back in and works perfectly, and the new bulb is back to Amazon.

Works as intended, can be used in any oldschool C/D maglite. The wide voltage range means it'll work with 1 to 6 standard 1.5v D/C cells. Still reasonably bright even using 1 cell. Personally I'm going to adapt a vintage palm light to work on 4 AA batteries (6 volts total) and replace the bulb with one of these. 1 star off of perfect as there is a slight blue-ish tint to the light, not really too noticeable and to be expected for this type of LED, but if you're invested in your flashlights, it's good to know.

Very Bright replacement lamp for 3cell maglight not sure on battery or lamp life as I don’t often use the old girl these days but this upgrade brings this torch into the 21st century with a very bright beam and the assurance of the maglights weight you just don’t get with more modern lightweight torches

Got this LED bulb to give my old 2 cell (3V), Maglite a new lease of life. Looked at lots of options and this one seemed to give the brightest output for the best price. it works a teat in much the same way as the old incandescent bulb beam was focused but this is so much brighter! Compared to other torches I have of know brightness it appears it is giving out what it claims in luminescence. Having only just put this in I am not sure on power consumption or longevity but I think it should out strip the old incandescent bulbs by several factors! Very happy with it.

...especially if you intend to use in a hand-lantern with the spring-topped 6V battery. Unlike many led P13.5s bulbs which are polarity independent, this bulb ONLY WORKS WITH THE PIN +VE. Hand lanterns are typically pin -ve (because the centre sping on a 6V PJ996 or 4LR25 battery is -ve). This bulb is now an expensive ornament for me...

Works as stated as long as you have positive battery feed to centre of the bulb

Inte imponerad av ljusstyrkan. 50kr ficklampor från t.ex Rusta lyser bättre. Största fördelen med denna lampa mot orginal glödlampan är att strömförbrukningen går ner. Ljusstyrkan ökar också något.
