Fantastic Wheel Stand
I was looking for something solid to mount a direct drive wheel base to that I could get slide out of the way and fold up when I need to. All parts of the stand are actually pretty thick pieces of steel. This makes the whole setup VERY heavy (wheel stand, wheel base and rim, pedals, shifter, and, button box). This doesn’t take away from my rating - if you want a lighter wheel stand that is easier to move, you buy one that is made with more lightweight material and that will likely flex more. I use mine on carpet and have carpet sliders under the included wide rubber feet and it is easy enough to slide around. The chair cradle works well and keeps my chair and wheel stand together even with the carpet sliders under the stand. Great adjustability! I like to race and truck and I change my setup when I go between them. For trucking, I move the pedal try a little closer, and I tilt the wheel back. When I race I move the pedal tray a little farther away and tilt the wheel down. Compatibility is great. I have a Fanatec wheel base and heusinkveld sprints and everything mounted with no problems. I do not have the heusinkveld pedal base plate - the pedals are mounted directly to the wheel stand 2.0 pedal plate and I have no issues. When braking very hard, this plate DOES flex slightly, however this flex would probably be eliminated by using the heusinkveld pedal base plate mounted to the wheel stand 2.0 pedal plate. There are a couple small things I wish were different - I wish they shipped smooth plastic feet with the stand so you could slide it easier on carpet so that I didn’t have to use other carpet sliders that aren’t secured to the stand, I wish you could tilt the wheel back slightly more, and I’m not the biggest fan of the shifter mount. I’m not sure how they could improve it, but when using it, the shifter isn’t in the most natural feeling position (I have two pieces of 8020 aluminum secured together at a right angle and clamped to the mount and my shifter is mounted to the 8020, placing the shifter in a lower, more natural position - it’s less stiff but in VR you don’t notice and it works great). This design could be improved SLIGHTLY but for the price, this is a no brainer. I had previously been using a wheel mounted to my desk and the difference is night and day. I gave this 5 stars instead of 4 because of the quality, and the issues I had were so minor they either don’t really matter, or you can work around them. Great stand for a good price! Would recommend to anyone looking for a STURDY wheel stand!

A Solid Upgrade for Sim Racing Enthusiasts - Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 Review
Impressive Build Quality (★★★★★): The robust steel frame and reinforced brackets give this stand an unmistakable solid feel. It effortlessly handled the direct drive from my fanatec DD in all the games I tested it with, no flexing or bowing, a seriously sturdy design that will not give up on you. Adaptable to Every Setup (★★★★★): What truly sets this stand apart is its adaptability. Supporting a wide array of racing wheels, pedals, and shifters (even changing to RHD), it brings a level of customization that you just don't get with cheaper alternatives. The quick-release mechanism makes adjustments a breeze, alot of comments say its hard to change the configuration for other users but i found it to be reasonable considering the build quality. Compact Yet Stable Design (★★★★☆): The compact and foldable design is a godsend for those with limited space (Im in a small apartment). When not in use, it folds neatly away without compromising stability during races. It strikes the perfect balance between space efficiency and rock-solid stability. 1 star off for the weight, but moving it a couple of feet will not be an issue even fully loaded with all of your sim gear, the foldability and low profile is not compromised by the weight dont let that be a turn off for you. Effortless Assembly (★★★★★): Setting up the Wheel Stand 2.0 was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The clear instructions and included tools made assembly straightforward, minimizing the time between unboxing and diving into racing, there were no struggles or pain points. Just make sure you build the shifter holder correctly i believe its set up for RHD!! In conclusion, the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 is not just a stand; it's an investment into a better sim racing experience. Its impressive build quality, adaptability, space-efficient design, enhanced stability, and user-friendly assembly make it a standout choice for enthusiasts - both new and old to the world of sim racing. definitely pick this sup if you are space limited, and even if you are not - this is well worth the investment as you can always upgrade to the full cockpit which was its greatest selling point to me in the future!

Easy To Assemble, Super Solid
This stand was easy to assemble and super solid. Weight wise, it's as heavy as gym exercise equipment. I had to make room to slide it away from the PC when not in use. I love that this stand has a tray to lock in the wheels of my office chair! I feel like I get the immersion of being in a full cockpit without actually having a full cockpit. I may later upgrade to a full cockpit setup, but this stand is perfect for my setup and works great with Direct Drive! I picked up a Moza R9 v2 for my wheel base, and am using Logitech G Pro pedals mounted on the stand. You can put the shifter mount on whatever side you like; I prefer mine on the right. I opted for the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter. If you want a solid stand that keeps you locked in similar to a cockpit, this is the stand for you! Also, the stand is upgradable to a cockpit; however the Next Level Gaming website seems a little vague about where to find the parts for the upgrade. Either way, I'm impressed by the quality and stability of this stand. I feel like I have a strong entry into the world of sim racing thanks to this stand and the entry to mid range parts I've acquired.

Super sturdy, but it isn’t as flexible as you might like
Wheel stands are a popular option for sim racers that value ease of adjustment, portability, and value over sturdiness and ultimate realism that heavy stationary cockpits offer. While the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 is a superb and affordable mounting option for anything out there, you do give up plenty of what makes wheel stands so popular. I bought this with a Fanatec DD Pro with ClubSport Load Cell Pedals, as an upgrade from a Thrustmaster T300 RSGT on a Wheel Stand Pro. That previous setup was easily portable and easily adjustable to whatever chair I or anyone else wanted to use. The thing to understand about this “wheel stand” is that, effectively, this is just the front half of one of NLR’s cockpits, sans the seat and seat brace. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but you do need to know this going in. Because of this, this stand is designed with a reclined cockpit-style seat in mind. If you want to drive seated straight up, that’s not really going to work with this stand, as it simply isn’t designed to be adjusted with that use case in mind. Thankfully, I have an old office chair that can safely lock in a reclined position. Also, making height adjustments to the wheel or pedals means removing four bolts for each, meaning that you can’t make quick adjustments for people who are shorter than you who want to try it out or share the rig. The stand is easy to build and ridiculously sturdy, perhaps too sturdy for most people. Aside from a tiny bit of flex up and down with the top wheel plate, this thing won’t budge or bend, ever. While that is great, it comes at a cost. For a “wheel stand,” this thing is too heavy for its own good. There’s simply too much metal being used here for most people’s setups, and it compromises how portable this “wheel stand” is. I’m using a pretty hefty wheel and set of pedals, and there isn’t even a hint of any movement at all, aside from a suspiciously weaker top wheel mounting plate, which is still quite solid. This thing weighs 50 pounds before any equipment is mounted. It really seems to me like they could’ve trimmed 10-15 pounds from the lower half of the stand with little issue. While I can lift it without much issue, plenty of people will have issues, and even if you are strong, it’s heavy and unwieldy enough that you won’t want to move it much. As long as you know that you’re getting something that’s more like the front half of a proper cockpit than an easily portable wheel stand, this thing is absolutely fantastic and feels like it will probably last a lifetime. However, if the portability and flexibility of a wheel stand are crucial, you might be better looking elsewhere.

Solid
I've always been skeptical of wheel stands. I though they'd wobble or rock off the base or just not be worth the cost or trouble. So I always just clamped my wheel to a desk I built and that worked fine. Well eventually I got a new desk and clamping the wheel to it was no longer an option. I dint have room for a full rig so I started researching wheel stands and settled on the Next Level 2.0. It was pretty simple to assemble and get adjusted to fit me (I'm 6'4" and there's still a lot of adjustment left). This thing is SOLID. I use a T300 wheelbase and T-H8A shifter and there is almost zero flex in the stand. To get any flex or wobble you really have to lean on the stand more than you ever normally would. It's rock solid while in use. Furthermore it's ergonomically much better than my old desk and clamp setup and for the first time I don't have neck/back/shoulder pain after hours of sim racing. When I finally have enough room I will get the racing seat half to make it a full rig but for now it works great with my desk chair. 10/10 would definitely recommend if you're looking for a wheel stand.

Well made, but not really for ATS
This was supposed to be a good truck simulator stand, but it does not fit me very well. Heavy built, and well made, just wish it had not been toted as a TS stand. I would imagine it would work well for a race car game, but not my bag.

Complete setup for racing wheel and desk chair!
I really wanted a rig that would complement my desk and allow me to use my chair. This is perfect! Everything is adjustable and the wheel tray on the bottom is a very nice touch that most other rigs don't include. It's heavy and a bit awkward to move, but not a huge task...another set of hands helps. It's solid and sturdy, includes the tools needed for assembly, and didn't take long to set up. I can't recommend folding it up to move it, but it can be done. It also includes wire clips to keep the cords from dangling and looking terrible. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get racing rig setup. Would probably work for flight as well, but I cannot speak to that.

Very Pleased!
Works as Advertised. Very Sturdy. Currently have used the Wheel Stand 2.0 with a 8nm Fanatec DD Pro. The Wheel Lock Secures your chair so you are not moving during heavy Breaking. I have been using for about 6 months with no issues. There have been no issues with anything coming loose. All though i do go thru every so often and make sure things are tight. Its is moderatly heavy as it will not easlily slide on carpet. But, thats a plus to. Deffinetly recommend The Wheel Stand 2.0. Worth every penny. And it is also Expandale to a full motion Rig!! Big Plus.....
