Unbelievable - you will not be disappointed
You will love this TV.I was a bit skeptical due to the sale price and not seeing many Pioneer brand TV's around anymore, but at the Prime Day price point I couldn't say no, and I am glad I took the risk. We got this TV for the bedroom so it wasn't intended as the main family TV, hence I thought it was ok to compromise a bit on quality for a lower cost model. However, the picture quality is very close to the Hisense we have in our living room that cost twice as much. It doesn't feature local dimming and so you will lose a bit of contrast depending on the scene, but again if you are shopping for a TV below $300 then chances are you are expecting to live without all the features of a high-end model. What you will get is a good balance of contrast, color & viewing angle. You also get GREAT sound - way better than I expected from a TV at this price point. Couple that with Prime, Netflix, and Disney Plus baked in and this is a fantastic deal.

A very good HDTV for the price, with excellent sound quality
I bought this Pioneer TV during 'Prime Days' on Amazon at a very good discounted price. My old Vizio HDTV was almost 10 years old and was having power problems. I wanted a similar or better TV to replace it. This is far superior in many ways. First, since I already had a Fire tablet in use in our living room for music, getting used to the Fire interface on this TV was a breeze. I was previously using a Roku device on my older TV, now I really have no need for it with the Fire interface built in to this TV. Next, the picture quality is very good for HD streaming, Blu-Ray discs, and XBox Series X gaming. Lots of settings to adjust picture quality, too. Then, the sound on this TV is excellent. I have it connected to my home theater stereo system, but have found that for just basic TV watching and shows, I don't even need to turn the stereo on. This TV gets plenty loud and has nice bass and treble. The audio settings also allow a lot of customizing to get the sound just right. Finally, it was shipped quickly and with care. It took me roughly an hour to easily unbox, assemble the TV, and get the apps and menu all set up for my subscriptions and devices. I am very happy with this purchase.

A mostly great, relatively inexpensive, 4K TV
This is a very nice, relatively inexpensive, 4K tv. At 43 inches it is a perfect size for a bedroom, a workout room, a garage, etc. It has three HDMI inputs, a coaxial input, an optical cable input, and component cable inputs. And, the inputs are located in a way that they should not be blocked if you put the TV on a wall mount. It also does have feet that screw onto the bottom to allow you to put it on a counter or a TV stand. The TV does have Amazon Fire TV built-in. You can do a basic setup or a full setup. The basic setup is the one you would pick if you are not an Amazon Prime member, and essentially just allows you to switch the inputs, download apps, etc. The full setup is what you would pick if you are a Prime member and will allow for easier access to all of the Prime Video content. The full setup is very easy, especially if you are even relatively tech-savvy. It will put a QR code on the screen that you can scan with your phone that will allow you to log into your Amazon account with your phone and then the TV sets itself up. You will have to wait for the firmware to upload, but the TV does that automatically and there is really nothing you need to do while the TV is downloading and installing the update. The TV itself is great. The resolution is wonderful, and finding what you want is relatively easy. It does have a Firestick remote, which has an Alexa button that allows you to do voice searching. The only thing I do not like about the remote is that it does not allow you to easily change the TV inputs via a button on the remote. You have to go to the home screen and change the inputs from there. And, when you are on the page that shows the inputs, the screen does not show you what is hooked up to what input. Aside from those issues, however, I think it is a great TV and definitely worth the price.
