WeatherTech Child Car Seat Protector, Black

Lord let me tell you, my toddlers destroyed my leather seats to my previous SUV with their messes and their car seats. I had no idea nor did anyone say car seats will eff your leather up so fast with the indentations they leave behind in just a mere couple weeks. Lessons were learned. Fast forward to July, and I’ve found myself getting a 21 Subaru Outback with beautiful pristine leather seats and two beastly toddlers determined to destroy that back seat within a couple days. These mats have already saved from spills of cups, snack crumbs, and my daughter deciding to pee through the cars seat after five mins from leaving the house when she just went to the bathroom. The unique lip of these mats catch ALL the liquids saving your seats! Hallelujah! I ended up not trimming the edges and just stacked the next to each other and were a perfect fit to cover the entirety of the back seat. If someone sat in the middle of the car seats, yeah it would be uncomfortable for their bottoms but that’s pretty rare for us. It love the fact that when they go to booster seats there a “kick” extension the covers the front of the seat. You can go wrong with Weathertech durability and quality. They match my cars factory rubber mats in color and style. Easy to hose off and clean vs other non-rubber car seat covers. Splurge and get them, you won’t be disappointed when your leather seats look just as good before kids entered the backseat of your ride.

Super easy install. Keeps the yuck off the seat from the 6year old. We chose not to cut any parts off as the orginal item as it fits great in out EV Chevy Equinox. But could if desired. We went with black to go along with our interior and matches great with our other WeatherTech mats. Water resistant with great grip. Defently worth the money for the quality. We love WeatherTech assessors and goes great with our WeatherTech items.

This is a good product very thick rubber and it does protect the seat. However, my kids’s legs rub up against it and it’s not very comfortable for them. So I stopped using it, but the product does exactly what it says it does it protect your seat from your messy child?

Was concerned about using our car seat in our new car. This has protected the seat nicely for the last 4 months or so.

Totally worth every penny! Great quality, it looks amazing, and the color matches perfectly with the leather of my car seat. I got this as a baby shower gift in 2021. If I am attending any baby showers in the future I will be getting them this a a gift. No one expect or wants their child to throw up but it’s inevitable. Infants, toddlers, kids, it’s gonna happen. And every time it’s happened this seat protector has protected my seats from getting soiled. It’s easy to install and easy to clean. Very good quality ,exact fit, a little on the pricey side

Fitment is good with britax boulevard in 2013-2016 CX5. For being a universal fit, I say it fits pretty well. I bought this because i wanted to minimize slippage of the child seat and also protect the leather of seat base. I had a Diono seat guard complete, but it ended up deforming too much with excess slippage, into the garage it went. I’m quite happy with this thick weathertech protector. Note that it will not protect the seat back but because the child seat is angled (forward facing) , only the top portion makes contact, so it not THAT bad…

Very tough and great idea

Saved my back seat!

Bought these for my brand new car. Wanted to protect the pleather seats from dents from my child car seats. This was installed for 2 weeks when I noticed these marks upon readjusting one of the seats. Since then, I have left the seat bare in hopes it will bounce back and it has been 2 months now and these dents are still visible. I sit there myself regularly and still it looks like it’s going to be permanent. Don’t trust these. They don’t work at all

Thick rubber, Easy to install, very handy to have. Wish it would extend onto the back of the seat as well. Great product regardless.
