Got a 2-pack of SFP+ to fiber adapters so I could run a direct line up to a switch in my office from the basement where all the networking gear is. First of all, they did NOT have to go this hard on the packaging. The adapters come in a tin with custom artwork of an anime dude in a lab coat wielding a giant version of the connector that looks awesome. The printing is well made and the info on the package is clear. I actually wanna keep this tin for something now! The devices themselves work as advertised. They seem reliable, well made, and easy to use. No complaints about speed or fit. They just work. No compatibility issues connecting between a UniFi cloud gateway and an off-brand switch. All around worth it. 10Gtek is really making a name for themselves in this space with effort like this and I truly appreciate it.

Well packaged in metal tins. Works with qnap QSW-2104-2S switch and Intel pcie 520 chipset running on freebsd. Very happy. :-).

I have purchased many 10Gtek modules over the years (been around 5 or 6 years now) and have yet to have a defective unit. I've purchased the MultiMode Fiber modules as well as the 10GBASE-T modules and they have worked and do work perfectly. I've used them in HP Enterprise/Aruba, Cisco Meraki & SMB switches, TP-Link, and Netgear switches without issue. I just get the "Cisco" variant and it works with everything. Definitely recommend these modules. You can get cheaper ones on Ebay (like finistar ones) but the 10GTek ones have so far been more reliable and that's important.
