Holts GM6RA 65ml Molyslip Gearbox Protection

I always treat such additives with scepticism, but the gearbox in my RAV4 has 100k miles on it and is a little slow on synchromesh on 2 and 3 gears. I changed the oil, added the Molyslip, and the gearbox is MUCH better! it's quieter, gear change is easier, and I can't believe how good this product actually is.

Used this years ago and it helped prolong a tired high mileage gearbox for many years, stopping the 3rd gear crunch and a very slight whine, so I thought I would try it again on another car with a pair of axles and transfer box, no complaints so far and would definitely use again.

Not really sure if this helped or not. I can say this, I used to get a little whine in second. I changed the gearbox oil and added this, no more whine and I am convinced gear changes are smoother, how much of that is down to the oil or this product I do not know. It most certainly hasn’t done any harm if that helps?

Works as intended. I only used one tube (well almost one but we will get to that) when for my gearbox size I should have used two, and the gearshifts are a little bit smoother and the box seems to grind less. 350z boxes are notorious for syncho wear and chunky clunky gearshifting issues from 1st to 2nd gear which is why I bought it. I would recommend it. Watch out if you try to squeeze the last bit out the bottle the applicator tube can pop off the bottle, and I managed to spill quite a bit this way. Just don't be as aggressive and you'll be fine
