KLIK5U-BK2 Garage Door Opener, Universal Remote Control, Black - Quantity 1

Attempted to go "cheap" and buy an off-brand, but it never synced with the garage door. Purchased this item, and even though it was a little more expensive, it was worth it. It synced first thing and has not had an issue since. Syncing instructions were easy to follow, and it controlled both garage door bays exactly as it should.

I got this Chamberlain garage door remote for my rental property and it's been super useful. Setup was quick and easy, and I didn’t need any wiring or tools to get it going. The remote works perfectly with both garage doors and feels solid in hand. My tenant said it was simple to use and reliable right away. For the price, it really is a great deal and I’ll probly get another one if I need to. Happy with this purchase overall and would recommend it to others.

This universal garage door opener worked great! There is no lag at all. My husband found it after our second attempt (the first universal remote we tried was not so universal 😂 ) I added a screen shot of the YouTube video we used to program it. Programming itself was super easy, but one thing we had to do was hard reset the garage door opener that was hard wired on the wall in the garage by doing a long hold on the button until the garage door was completely shut. The issue we had was when we pressed the newly programmed clicker it would start to close but then shoot back up like it was sensing something was in the way, but there was nothing in the way. We found that holding the GARAGE WALL button down, , not the clicker, the garage door was able to fully shut. It was only after the hard reset that we were able to open and close the garage door normally using the new clicker!

Good product. Works well and was compatible with both of my garage door openers. I have a Precision Garage Door opener and an older Genie as well. Programming was easy and range seems pretty good as well. My only complaint, if you could even call it that, was that it looked like the opener had been maybe used before or was just handled poorly in transit. The face had some wear and small scratches on it. It is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance of the opener. Overall, very satisfied.

I originally purchased this remote a few years ago and tried using it for a brief period of time, but was left unimpressed. I instead opted for an older, larger remote that seemed to be more responsive than this one, but it too was not perfect. I consistently would have to get out of my vehicles when leaving for the day and point it directly at the opener just outside of the garage to manage to get the door to close. Little did I know this was because I had replaced the incandescent bulbs on the garage motor with LED bulbs. When leaving each morning, I would proceed to open the door and then struggle to get the door to close because the bulbs were activated and on. When returning from work, I generally did not find an issue with the door opening while engaging my remote from the entrance of my driveway. This was because the bulbs were off and not activated until I actually opened the door. It got to the point where I was considering replacing my garage motor, until I watched a video that illustrated the issues with garage motors and usage of LED bulbs. This was all found due to the fact that I had purchased a new vehicle in which I needed to then get another opener for that vehicle. Prior to making the purchase, I replaced the LEDs with some old incandescent and found that the other opener began to be much more responsive and with issue. I desired a smaller opener for my new vehicle and decided to give this one a try again. It has been flawless thus far and has quite a great range, actually. Just wish I had looked into this issue long before. Long story short...oh wait too late. Just make sure that you don't have LED bulbs installed on your garage motor and this product should work as touted. :-)

I needed to buy a replacement for my Chamberlain as the cheap non-Chamberlain openers would not allow me to program my Homelink in my 2025 Wrangler. Got this and it literally took me 1 minute to program and get it linked up. Spent 30 minutes trying with the no-name opener before.

Great product. Easy to pair with the garage opener. I bought two for use in the house to close the garage when I forget to do so after parking the car or when my hands are too full to reach the button in the garage. Very convenient

Funciona excelente, buen alcance. Llego antes de la fecha estimada de entrega. Un poco complicada la programación como lo indica las instrucciones porque tengo el botón de pared. Lo que se tiene que hacer es apretar el botón seleccionado para abrir la puerta, dejarlo apretado y apretar el botón de luz del mando de la pared y sin soltar el botón del abre puertas del mando de la pared.

I am so glad I made this purchase. It was super easy to set up.. We have an old lift master garage opener... perhaps 1993 or so.. so we were not even sure it would work but it Did! Nice design easy to clip onto visor. We have a green light on ours so it most certainly works with the green light units. Happy!
