Problem solved, it actually comes with the tool to open and the screws are in a separate bag so you don't have to deal with "difficult" disassembly right out of the gate!

Can you still hear the speaker of the Airtag inside TagVault?

Yes you can. It’s not as loud with the case on but if you are within 15’ or so you can definitely hear it. That said, the beep function is almost an obsolete feature. The Find Me app on my iPhone is so accurate it takes me to within 3-4 inches of the AirTag and I’ve never had to actually use the beep function to find my lost keys.

Can this be used for Samsung smart tag?

I don’t think so. It is designed for the Apple AirTag, and it is a snug fit.

Where can I purchase the tool for the screws?

A tool is typically included with the shipment, but if you lose it, it is a torx screw. I can’t remember exactly what size, I think a torx 8.
