Great quality and the flavor is very good. Does have a bad taste like some products sold like it. They are gluten free and they are nutritious with a good amount of protein. Like a healthy candy bar.

These bars are so far above the norm as far as taste and texture! These taste like a candy bar! They are the perfect balance of protein and digestibility. There are a variety of flavors available, but these are my favorite! Even my 4yr old grandson loves them! A great value when you buy this size box, too!

I WOULD LIKE TO FIRST ADDRESS 2 FLAGGED THINGS CONCERNING TEXTURE AND CHEW-ABILITY. I CANNOT ATTEST TO WHAT OTHERS FEEL, BUT I FIND THESE PROTEIN BARS TO BE SMOOTH AND EASY TO CHEW WITHOUT IT GIVING AN UNPLEASANT TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH. IT HOLDS TOGETHER AND IS NOT GRITTY. You get a solid 20g of protein with only 3g of sugar, which makes these an easy, guilt-free option for post-workout fuel or a quick snack when you’re on the go. It’s not bad, just something you notice. Also, while the flavor is good, it’s not quite indulgent enough to forget you’re eating a protein bar.Overall, these are reliable, good value, macro-friendly bars that deliver exactly what they promise. If you prioritize protein and low sugar over dessert-level taste, this is a great choice. Four stars for value, consistency, and nutrition, with a small deduction for texture.

Love these for a quick protein add to my daily routine and a chocolate fix is a bonus.

I love these protein bars and eat them often. However, less than 1 week ago I paid $11.80. I went to reorder and the price had gone up to $18.99. For that price I can purchase them at my nearby Target store rather than Amazon since there is no longer any savings.

Update10/1/26I am very disappointed with the fact that I have a limit on ordering this product all of a sudden. This product is a big part of my meals and protein count for medical reasons so1 box is maybe a week depending if it’s once, twice or three times a day. I also noticed the price is getting really high. It’s listed as $18.98 they were just $16.98 and last month they were $13.98 which is why I was trying to order 3 more boxes. I tried to order a month’s supply which is about 4 boxes. I order these every month for almost 2 years after BJ’s stopped selling them. They are smaller than they were when I first started getting them. I have no choice since I have to keep these at all times.10/7/25: How does the price change to 11.99 the last couple of months then 15.99 the last few days, and during the big prime sell instead of going down it went up to 16.94. I was trying to get my chocolate bars like I do every month.8/6/25: I didn't like the lemon cake bars; they taste chalky to me, unfortunately. I tried to eat them on two different occasions, and I couldn't get past the first bite. I would suggest buying the smallest box first because I love this brand, and the bars are usually really good. I assumed that the lemon bars would be really good as well, so I bought 2 boxes of the 12-pack. I'm stuck with 22 bars.7/15/25: Trying the lemon cake, but I also bought chocolate. I would suggest using the boxes to ship, as all of the boxes arrived open again because they were in a thin plastic envelope.My only issue is that I ordered it on June 7, and they are not arriving until July 20th. I was told after I paid for it. I have 6 bars left, so what am I supposed to do until July 20th? very disappointed, but I need my bars as part of my gastric sleeve nutrition at the 9-month mark. good source of protein, but it's only 12 for $16.99 and I'm used to getting a 23 mixed box for about $21 with a coupon. I have to order them because they are part of my protein. They are a little dry, but most of the protein bars that are low in fat and sugar that I tried are the same texture. Taste is pretty decent, and they are not hard.

Really like these, haven't tried other flavours except choc one, and it really resembles a chocolate in a protein snack formula with it being delicious yet supposedly healthy and nutritious. Placing it in a fridge makes it a game changer, as it becomes more satisfying, more solid, less sticky/chewy and the flavour becomes a bit different as well!

Good texture and not too sweet. Great value for money. Chocolate flavour is not overpowering.
