What is the distance between the two mounting holes? I want to attach this to the roll bar of a 2023 Ford Bronco, which has pre-drilled holes.

I used the clamps provided. to mount on roll cage of my 2021 can am maverick x3.

What size holes are on the base?

Without removing the unit it’s just a guess but I’d say the actual hole is just over a 1/4 inch in diameter and the widest part is very close to 1/2 inch so a tapered screw head will fit nicely. But the clamps provided work really well have rubber and the base has grooves to help you line them up.

Will this actually hold a 10lb fire extinguisher?

I have two of these mounts. They hold my 5 pound extinguisher with absolutely zero issues. I would’ve think you could get away with a 10 pounder…
