I assume that the gas would build up faster** A: Our experience was very good. After we were exterminated for a bed bug infestation, the bugs came back far worse. In particular, because my elderly mother was in bed a lot, and --like many seniors and people taking certain types of medications--she barely felt the bites, she got the worst of it by a mile. I discovered a few dozen bed bugs lodged around the head of her bead, along the frame, sheets, and in the frills of her shams. . (Pardon me for a moment, while I shudder at the memory). Her closet, which was inches from her bed along the same wall as the infestation, was full of clothes, shoes, fur coats bags and more. It also has an old wood floor with place for generations of bugs between the floor boards. My knees went weak when I contemplated the discoveries that lay ahead. However, the exterminator had put a single Nuvan strip in there, and the solid wood door, which usually remained shut, has a reasonably good seal. Before heat treating, I inspected every centimeter of everything in that closet, and there was not a bug or a casing or a dropping to be found. Still some research I have to do, however, about the safety of living in proximity to this chemical... **Q: Can I put this in a sealed matress cover ? And sleep on the matress.** A: The label says No. you have to wrap the mattress with thick plastic sheet/bag ( the label says how thick it should be) to keep the ddvp vapor in.
