USB Type-C Breakout Board Serial Basic Breakout Female Connector Type PCB Converter Board (5 PCS)

Guys, it’s the 21st century. The year is 2024. Why literally everything doesn’t have Type C at this point is beyond me.I ordered this pack to replace a USB TYPE B port on a MODERN AUDIO INTERFACE. I mean yeah, of course I get that it’s technically a more durable connector, but it really isn’t 1998 anymore. We have the technology now.Works perfectly, and while it doesn’t have every single possible contact broken out, I think it’s more than serviceable for most projects.

I am very happy to have found these little break out boards. They work like a charm with my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and B+ units connected to the 7" touchscreen. Before trying these breakout boards, I would get a low voltage warning on the Pi. No matter what micro USB adapter I tried I had the same issue.What I found worked were these break-out boards and the 100-watt USB cable with the meter. The photo attached is using the USB C adapter for the Raspberry Pi 4.What makes these different is the two resistors. The resistors tell the USB C charger to supply 5 volts at 2 amps or 10 watts. This board along with a good quality USB C cable solved my low-voltage issues.

I picked these up to modify my Elgato Stream Deck Mk1 to make a detachable cord. They are easy to work with and the slim profile allowed me to fit the port into a pretty tight space. Connections are well labeled on both sides of the boards. Soldering connections were straightforward and easy accomplished. I didn't really need 5, but, the price was good enough I don't mind having spares.

Clear pings, good quality. -1 star because the connector itself doesn't go very deep compared to most, i.e. not as good of a connection - but it's good enough if you aren't yanking on it too much, it'll probably last a while.

It took me a while to find a breakout board that was pre configured to be a sub device. This one worked perfectly, I was able to solder the connections in place and use my keyboard as expected.

Used for an emoji planter and seems to hold up well. Been in constant use for over two months and still going strong.

just needed 1, used to verify purchased USB-C cables were wired correctly, then used a meter with them to adjust the output power from the Dc To Dc Buck Converter into the homemade power cables. Worked great.

I don't know too much about soldering but from what I can tell for the money these and your time are alot cheaper than buying a replacement proprietary charger for your nintendo handhelds like your 3ds or wii u gamepad. Handy to have if you need them! Haven't done too much else with them but I'm happy with my purchase so far!
