For home, it is her massage cream of choice, and we use it for feet, calves, hamstrings, back, shoulders, and neck. There's no lingering odor or residue, but it does leave skin well moisturized, which is a plus that is not advertised as such. It's a thick paste cream consistency, but is smooth and works well to protect skin during massage. In our experience, it does not stain towels or linens, and is not messy. I don't even feel the need to wash my hands after applying. I did not give an additional rating for pain relief or scent, as Free-Up is a massage cream that does not contain perfumes or any pain medicine. It's more expensive, but it is a professional grade product, and worth the cost in my opinion. I would suggest purchasing the larger 16 oz jar, as it is more cost effective that way, but your needs may vary.
