Kit with Latex Based Stone Filler, Picking Stone, and Pick for Anxiety and Dermatillomania Fidget Relief

Edit: Okay I've given it another try. It does take two hands for the smaller bits. A lot depends on the rock you use and how you apply the filler and how long you let it dry. I've done some experimenting and I've found it does actually help. The skin I had been picking at has now fully healed. The big con is the set up time and getting the all the little bits out but that too can be soothing just needs more focus.The issue with using it for Dermatillomania is that it takes focus and two hands to use it. The tool is necessary to get a lot of it off. Another con is that it smells horrible. It didn't really work for me but everyone is different. It was worth a try.

Great for kids who have issues with picking their skin obsessively. Encourages replacement behavior.

This is definitely worth the money! I was reading the reviews, seeing if it was worth it and a few people complained about the whole thing peeling off, which did happen the first time (it came with the latex already on the rock). I personally found the best way to make it work and not all come off in a few pulls (unless you enjoy having it all come off in a few pulls) is to fill the holes individually, don’t smear it or rub it all together. It didn’t take long to fill and it worked perfectly once dried.

So useful two weeks before my wedding as my picking habit went into overdrive due to anxiety. I had lovely nails/ normal looking cuticles and fingers for my wedding. Having acrylic nails for the first time, I highly recommend to those who like manicures as fake nails are less sharp and unable to do as much damage. So I am still doing well. Of course, I won't wear these all the time, so I'm glad I have the picking stone for after these acrylic nails are gone.

The latex comes off of the picking stone too easily in one peel and it does take awhile for it to dry. Otherwise it's helpful for Skin picking.

The media could not be loaded.  This product didn’t work. The latex filler not only smells horrible, but the entire bottle had dried up upon delivery. It comes with some kind of cap over top, but I don’t think it was twisted into place to be airtight so the entire thing is dried. Not to mention the existing latex on the stone is just laid on top, not into the holes themselves, so you’re essentially just peeling the top layer off of the stone all in one swoop. Will not be buying again :(

I bought this for my teen who picks at her face way too much. This gives her something to do with her hands and she loves it. It really does help.

Unimpressed with the latex coating used. Within two uses of the attached tool, I was able to grab all of the coating off of the stone. The coating is meant to stick together which means it will not break off into little pieces which is more helpful for someone with anxiety. I expected a better coating.
