I bought this tripod mainly for my Go Pro Hero 11 Black. But I do want to point out that you need an adapter to be able to mount the action camera to this tripod. The style that I purchased was “PIXI Mini Made in Italy,” which I think is the newer model. I’d say I am satisfied with this product. It is built strong and feels durable when you hold it. The legs are wide enough to support an entry-level DSLR camera and keep it standing securely, but also not wide enough to take up space. The underpinning of the legs is also partially rubberized which further helps with stability. However, if you mount a stick or monopod between the tripod and a camera, it will only be able to support a small and lightweight camera, like a point-and-shoot or an action camera. I like that it is heavy for its small size which speaks to its sturdiness and stability. I can use it as a handle too for filming. Additionally, I like the ball head mount type. I prefer this over pan and tilt for a tripod or stick as it allows a faster way to adjust the orientation of the camera while also giving you more flexibility to level against uneven surfaces. On this note, the feature that stands out to me the most is the way the ball head is controlled or adjusted. You basically press and hold the red button as you adjust the ball head and then release the red button to lock the ball head. Honestly, I like this approach better than a screw. I have easier, safer, and better control with this technique. Best of all, this tripod is travel-friendly and fits comfortably on a camera backpack. Over-all, I highly recommend this product!

This is my biggest gripe with this little guy! - Once you press the red button to adjust tilt, there's no way to bring it back to level! ⚠️⚠️The easiest way to mitigate that is once you've unboxed yours, get a sharpie to outline the circle where it's level so you can reset back to it 🤓 My Final Thoughts 🧐 1️⃣ If you're looking for a simple, functional, and reliable mini tripod, look no further! This is it! 2️⃣ However, if you can invest a little more, I'd go with the Manfrotto PIXI EVO. It's just as compact but has extendable legs and comes with a thumb screw! It's a good option that allows you to use it to hold the phone and the mic with the same tripod, and you can even use it to hold the phone only. Sometimes, it's hard to find a low-profile mic stand for your desk so you can have a second tripod to use for the mic only. The material is good, great value for the money, and the durability is good as well.

Ball-head works great. Love the one-button design. Very intuitive and easy to use without even looking at it. Note though that because the ball-head has a very simple locking mechanism, it won’t support a ton of weight. I was able to get a *big* DSLR camera to stay without slipping, but I couldn’t really move the tripod at all when doing so. I don’t see that as a problem, it’s just a trade-off of having a super convenient adjusting mechanism. Most people will use this for phones, action cameras, and smaller devices. It’s perfect for that. When used as a handle, it feels really nice in the hand. The composite material feels very strong and inspires confidence. This is my second Manfrotto purchase and I really like their products.

Great to use as legs for 7- to 13-inch LED monitors but the legs aren't weighted, so make sure you have a good space. Also great for small Panasonic P&S consumer cameras and GoPro,s if you haven't bought their proprietary handle and don't require external battery powers. Always one in my tech kit whether I'm camera op-ing or switching.
