CONVENTIONALITY I live in a small space, so I was so happy to find a workout bench I could easily fold up and push to the side after working out. All I have to do is pull up the seat and it stands on its own, only taking up about 3 square feet of floor space. I can even lift it up to move it if I don’t want to drag it across my floor. And for reference, I’m a 5’2” 125lb 23y/o woman who only casually works out, so if anyone is concerned that it’ll be difficult to move then just know I could do it! EASE OF ASSEMBLY Working alone, I was able to assemble the bench in about 1.5 hrs. There were very few steps and the diagram was easy to follow. It comes with a wrench and Allen keys already so you don’t have to dig out your own. The most confusing part for me was probably sorting out the bolts, but even that was very intuitive. STURDINESS I can not speak too much about this because I am a small person and I am not really lifting cars or anything. Someone with more intense requirements might have more to say, but for my build and what I’m doing (the big 5, building strength) this bench is more than perfect. I feel very supported on it. VALUE I think just looking at the price, this bench was very comparable to other workout benches on here. HOWEVER, this was the only model that had all 4 aspects I looking for in a bench. The 4 aspects were (most important-least important): 1) Foldability (for easy storage and space efficiency) 2) Built in weight rack (for convenience to work with barbell) 3) Offers a seat (for seated workout options that require support) 4) Inclination options (just nice to have) To have all of these traits for the price this weight bench was what made this was a great investment for me. Many models that were foldable wouldn’t have a weight rack and others vice versa. Some models had all but a seat.

Great bench. Easy to put together

I got this Weight Bench Set with Squat Rack for my teenage son, and it’s been a game-changer for his daily workouts! What really stands out is how space-saving and efficient the design is. The squat rack and bench are easy to set up and store, making it perfect for our home gym, where space is limited. My son loves how sturdy it feels, and it gives him the freedom to do a full range of exercises – from bench presses to squats – all in one setup. When I purchased this, I was kind of skeptical. This item of my gym is always taken so it is hard to actually do when I am there. I bought this as a supplement for the days when I can’t get on this at the gym, but I always wanted something that wouldn’t take up a lot of space in my home office. What I wasn’t expecting, was the quality of the product when it arrived! It took me a bit to put together and once I figured out how it actually worked and folded up correctly, I was very impressed with it! It is very sturdy, it holds my barbell and weights off the ground (I kept stubbing my toe on them) and has easily become something that I use more often than I thought I would. There are only 2 dislikes that I have. I am 6” 2’, I feel like the side bards need to raise just a tad higher for me to actually do dips correctly. I feel like I am still too close to the bench/floor when I do them. The 2nd item is just a pet peeve and nothing to do with the actual product. I hate that I was not able to get all of the plastic off of the bench without unscrewing the bottom bolts. Would have been so much easier if it just pulled off or was not wrapped and then bolted down. Again, just a pet peeve of mine. Overall a much better product than I expected and I have recommend it to 3 fiends already!

I bought this to get my teen son started on building strength for athletics. If this was marketed as a product for teens, I'd give it a higher score. There are some issues I will address. 1. Fairly easy to put together. We did it together and it took under an hour. 2. Looks good 3. Comes without weights or bar, so need to order that extra. 4. My son is 5'11" 150 and the size fits him perfectly. I'm 6'1" 210 and it is slightly small for me. Still works, but it feels like I need something sturdier if I want to lift more weight. Bench is too narrow for my broad back and shoulders. 5. I put 225 on the bar for bench press and it felt like the extendable post were not fully capable to handling that weight unless you put it back carefully. Design flaws: 1. The butterfly chest curl attachments are virtually useless. They were a bit awkward to use and clunky if you put more than 25 pounds on them. More importantly, they are not designed to take on and off easily and they prevent you from doing bench presses, as they get in the way. When you bring the bar down the weight plates hit the butterfly arms and it is difficult to place the butterfly arms in a position to avoid contact. We removed them completely. 2. The other issue is with the leg curl. There is a post where you put the weight plates and at the bottom of the post there is a disk to stop the weight plates from dropping further and hitting your knees when you extended to horizontal. The problem is the disk is smaller than the hole of standard weight plates, so every time you lift the weight, they fall past the safety disk and hot you knees. We've figure out a weigh to keep this from happening, but that requires you to manipulate the machine differently and to concentrate on avoid that issue rather than just focusing on the lift. I would definitely buy this for folks under my height and under 200 pounds(maybe under 190), but I would spend more money to get something more sturdy to handle more weight/s and a larger body.

Easy to put together and holds weights well. I did remove the preacher's arm cushion because it just felt in the way of lifting the weights in front of the bench set. Now its's much easier to lift the front weights with my arms or use my legs. Only downside is tiny black flecks of coating comes off and litters the floor as I lift the side arm weights, but they are tiny and easy to sweep away. I like how it can fold up and saves space when done.

I bought this because I'm 55 and wanted a weight bench that had all the different options this one does to do light to moderate workouts. I also like that it folds up and out of the way when I'm not using it. This bench is exactly what I was looking for. The instructions were good and it was easy to put together and it took me about two hours by myself. I like the versatility of it and it seems well made. I've used for several months and it's held up really well and seems like it will last a long time. I also like the customer service. When I assembled it, the seat had a small rip in it and I sent an email to them on a Saturday. I didn't expect to hear back from them until Monday but they responded in a few hours and asked me to send a picture of the seat. I did and they responded the next day and said they would ship a new seat on Monday. They shipped the seat on Monday just like they said they would and it arrived in four days. So, I like everything about this bench and the customer service was good, too.

I spent a decent amount of time searching for a weight bench that would fit my needs, and chose this one after the first one I bought wasn't up to do what I needed and the height was to tall... I was looking for a bench I could do incline and decline presses, and have a specific height from the ground to the top of the bench while flat so I could use my feet during bench presses, the height on this one is perfect for someone that is on the shorter side. Assembly was easy enough, the directions were ok. When assembling, take a picture of the package with the hardware in it, if you don't, it'll be hard to read the numbers for which piece of hardware you need to use. The only con I've run into so far is that the uprights where you would put your bar for bench pressing,the space between them is a bit narrow , so you can't really do a wide grip when bench pressing if that's how you like to do them. There was a bit of a odor when put together (assuming it was the paint, rubber parts, or the seat material) it faded after 24 hours or so in the garage. Overall it was worth theoney spent and I'd recommend it !
