These pads do the job. I buy things on sale and in bulk when I can and then repack in vacuum bags. The pads help make the sealing easier buy keeping the liquids where they belong.

These are the same type pads you find underneath steaks and meats packaged at the grocery store. They draw in liquids to prevent them from pooling in the package. I use them in my vacuum sealing and place them near the top of the bags to absorb the liquids that the vacuum is inherently pulling to the top of the bag. They work well for my usage and I am happy with them.

It’s a “must have” when vacuum packing moist items like steak, fish, pork chops etc. Keeps the seal good and your product looking good.

Definitely recommended for all frozen meat storage. I bulk buy at Costco to freeze meat for two months and they work great
