Big difference for dart board
Purchased this to shine a spotlight on a dartboard. Does a great job and rotates to dial in on your desired target. Fairly heavy construction. It turns on with my garage light switch so it has been on / off hundreds of times in the last 3 months without any issues. Happy with my purchase so far.

This light is not particularly bright (7 watts) and not intended for long distance lighting.
Does what is supposed to do. Comes without instructions but is easy to figure out.

Ordered twice. Both burnt out after just a few hours.

Excellent color temp, output, uniformity of beam and adjustability...
For 10 years I had some cover plates where I wanted art lighting around my new house...well the mono point halogens we had planned are silly given today's LED technology. But it wasn't easy to find well functioning fixtures at a reasonable cost...then I came up with a cheap industrial aesthetic using cheap keyless bases, E26/E27 adaptors - both rigid and flexible, and used this lamps (light bulbs) and was giddy with the results! See for yourself... Originally I had used the 12W version, because I couldn't find dimmable or lower wattage, but have since replaced the 12W lamps with these 9W lamps and the lumen reduction is just right...though I still wish they were dimmable. The only other thing, and its actually less of a problem with this PAR16 over others, because the beam shroud, is glare. I ended up 3D printing my own solution, which is the white or yellow plastic part glowing in my pics...eliminated all glare, but this particular design wouldn't work at the maximum 60-degree beam spread. All said, the most expensive part of my lighting solution was this lamp, and the combo of base, adaptor, lamp and shield came out to less than $40/per spot and will last for years! Wish I had thought of this all sooner.

Doesn’t Dim
I was trying to figure out why these where a “frequently returned item”, and I finally figured out why…. They produce an excellent narrow 15 degree spot beam. They have an excellent warm yellow color, but they do not dim. They are perfect in all other aspects, but being able to dim is a game changer. They are useless if you can’t dim/brighten their intensity. I have tried them on multiple dimmer switches in the house, with the same results. If this company can one day resolve this flaw, they will be continually selling out. One other side note…. There needs to be a white option, and a shorter length option. They work well in a 6 inch can housing, but protrude in a 4 inch can.

Gets Quite Hot
I bought this to put in a desk lamp for use as external illumination of a terrarium. The beam can be focused very tight and at its widest it fully illuminates the terrarium at a distance of about 12" above the soil surface. A couple of reservations though, when I reached in to adjust the focus, I noticed it was very hot, almost like an incandescent bulb. Second, it is not bright and probably insufficient for growth without some other light as in a bright room. The terrarium does look like a mysterious little world though.

I Love This Thing!
I bought this to highlight a holiday floral arrangement on my front porch. I wanted to spotlight the arrangement and not spray light across the whole porch. The photo doesn't do it justice. I bought a warm white, and it truly is has a warm tone. The photo makes it look brighter than it actually is.

Now THAT'S a spotlight !!!
Most other "spotlights" have too wide a beam. I needed a very narrow beam with sufficient brightness for my purpose. I can't speak to other reviews that complain about dimming flicker, but I can say that the beam adjustment range is very good. And the 9 watts of LED power, equivalent to a regular 75-watt bulb, is exactly what I needed and hard to find in other products. Overall, an excellent product and highly recommended.

This LED light gets quite hot. Otherwise, no complaints.
