I got a different model because I was unprepared, but I returned it and got this one that is amazing, and honestly all models likely work on the same amazing level. The one thing I'll say is: double check your door hole dimensions first, it's more important than you think. If you get your own door and core the holes, this would be the best ever. That said, the first smaller version didn't fit at all, this one did, however even then there's still about 1/8" exposed hole from where the deadbolt was that this doesn't cover. During winter, I'll likely just insert a little Styrofoam or something. In spite of all of that, this installs nicely, and if you ever installed a door knob, you know that some can be a serious pain. I'd recommend you don't attempt this though unless you have at least a bit of handyman experience. Not a ton... If you can put together IKEA furniture without a problem and solve basic household needs with some basic tools, you should be fine. The functions and versatility of this lock are amazing though. The thumbprint reader is a bit finicky, don't expect it to work like your phone. It does work though, with a little trial and error. YMMV. The fob, code, and app unlock though are flawless. As a quick aside, I got this as a 50/50: smart home so I can track and have easier access, but equally for my handicapped wife with MS. She has issues with the code, but the fob works great for her. Haven't had long enough to test battery life, but seems pretty decent. That's the one thing that worries me though with this... If you aren't on top of it and don't carry a key, you may lock yourself out.

Just installed two of these to keep my kids out of the basement (dangerous tools and chemicals) and my bedroom (we all need some privacy). They work great- I set up the keycards as well as fingerprints for both my wife and me. They seem solid, and the fingerprint reader works reliably. Installation is no harder than a standard door handle. I didn't buy the hub, so mine are just handles with keypads and fingerprint readers, which is all I need/want. But if you do add the hub they turn into fully fledged smart locks, with remote access via app. My only complaint is that I can't get the tamper alarm to stay off, despite changing the setting in the app multiple times. My youngest likes to play with the fingerprint reader, which sets off the alarm and also prevents legitimate access for ~60sec. EDIT 8/22/22: I've installed a third unit, and all are still working great. One of the latches failed last week- all the electronics and smart components were fine, but the latch itself had a mechanical problem and got stuck. I contacted Yamiry support and they had a free replacement latch at my door within 3 days. Great customer service!

Works great! For a while, until I purchased this particular vehicle I have now in February, I could leave the house without keys.

Pros: 6 unlocking options (fingerprint, PIN, RFID, app, key, remote) Sleek modern design Easy DIY install TTLock app supports code sharing and remote unlock Backup keys included Cons: Needs battery changes App is required and may occasionally lag DIY install could be tricky for some Great value smart lock for new homes, with lots of unlocking methods and good security, but make sure you’re comfortable with DIY install and managing the app.

This smart lock was a breeze to set up, and the fingerprint feature works quickly every time. I feel a lot safer knowing I don’t have to worry about lost keys!

I purchased 6 units back in September 2022 for a small apartment complex in Mexico. Construction finished way behind schedule so these locks weren’t installed and actually used until about October 2023, that’s important context for timeframe of actual lock usage versus when I bought them. At first, I loved these locks. A good design, many access methods and they worked well to the point I was recommending to my property developer for his 41 apartment complex project.. until it all went wrong, I’m so glad I discovered before he ordered 41 of them! The batteries started to drain really fast, this got worse and worse over time. About a year after starting to use the locks the batteries would drain quickly, even after swapping them out with the best batteries I could find they’d die in about 4 or so months, although it’s super inconsistent between each lock. Now I have two locks that will drain of battery after about a week! Plus one that’s starting to fail and lasts maybe 6 weeks. But one by one, they’re all faulting. Now the worst part is that I emailed support at YAMIRY on the 17th of February. At first they were quick to respond and offered to send replacements for the locks failing.. I thought, wow!! Great customer service.. At first. Then when I gave them delivery and order details they ghosted me.. twice. So I followed up again with a whole new query on 24th of February. They clearly need to invest in a CRM because they had zero context of my original query and then told me they couldn’t send replacements to Mexico. Then they offered a refund but now ghosting me again. Now I’ve had to buy 6 whole new lock systems because I need them to be the same. Also, I live in New Zealand so managing access disasters for guests in Mexico remotely from New Zealand when batteries die on guests etc. is not ideal. YAMIRY locks are absolute garbage, their service is terrible (seriously, a CRM, for real… like business 101) and they don’t follow through. If you’re someone looking for a solution for a holiday rental or similar.. don’t risk this product. The batteries will die without warning and they’ll eventually just fail on you. After just one year of actual use they became useless.

I like it. Very sturdy feel, the feeling of a quality product. Works great! Battery lasts a long time. I now have two of them and tossed out our old one.

Damaged after 4 months of usage, smart lock is dead like no batteries inside, despite I try 3 different set of new batteries!!
