Batman Movie The Scuttler 70908

As a 46-year-old, I like this set quite a bit for the aesthetics, the mini-figs, and some of the unique attributes. It was a pretty fun build, and it just looks so super cool. I definitely like the Ultimate Batmobile set better, but this one is very good. The Poison Ivy figure is more impressive than I had envisioned, given the size of her on her vines. As a kid, I would have LOVED this kit. The ability to adjust the length and orientations of the legs, the single-piece shooters, the dual cockpits, the Batman jet pack...wow, it just has so much play potential. It's also not complex to change the legs around, which makes it more fun, IMO. It's easy to move into different positions, and those positions can look quite a bit different from one another. The net shooter looks extremely cool, and it does shoot out the net...a little. It's not extremely functional, but I love the look of it and the idea behind it. I wasn't sold on this when I first finished the build, but after having it around for a month and admiring it more and more, I definitely recommend it to any Lego Batman fans out there.

This is a great Lego set which includes Batman's Scuttler, Batman's hidden jetpack and six mini-figures (Batman in black, Barbara Gordon in her GCPD uniform, Dick Grayson in a blue tuxedo, Commissioner Gordon in his dress uniform, the Joker in a long tail suit, and Poison Ivy in all her vine glory. The Scuttler is the main event in this set. It has tremendous adjust-ability to transform into a variety of poses. I'll post some photos of a few of the positions I could adjust it to. It is also great fun to play with once the set is built. The Scuttler has a very feline look to it. It also has projectile “weapons” that can be shot from it. There are a total of 775 pieces in the set and takes a few hours to build. It was a fairly easy build. At this time, this seems to be the only Batman Movie Lego set that has Poison Ivy in it.

I was a little leery of ordering this because the description stated the box was damaged, but the contents were good to go. I've had prior experience with collectables that this usually means not 100% ok, but I decided to take the chance. I'm grateful I did. Everything came as described and now I have a new item to put with my Batman Lego collection. I would recommend Marilyn's Galleria to anyone. You will be very pleased.

This was my son's most wanted lego set and I found out it was retiring soon. At $65 I was delighted to get it from this seller. It was pretty easy to put together. Took three hours with some interruptions. The front legs are a little flimsy when moving it around due to how it's built but such a nice looking set.

We are delighted and impressed with this play set. I got this to build share with the family because we loved the Scuttler so much in the Lego Batman movie. The play set was easy for my son to put together, but he is 24 and has put together many Lego playsets in his life. I helped with sorting the pieces etc. Finished Scuttler is a beauty: lots of extra little touches make it very sleek and "moderne" looking. It has an incredible number of articulation points, allowing it to be pose-able in a multitude of ways. Finally, it has several places with tiny projectiles you can shoot! (And lose... LOL.) Set comes with really lovely and basic mini-figures, as other have said. All in all, while we are all "adults" and this is more of an "interactive collector display piece" for us than a toy per se, we all really love it. Well done, Lego!

My son has never shown interest in this set. He loves all the other Batman movie lego sets but has said this one "looked stupid". This Christmas it went on flash sale for a price I couldn't pass up. I thought if he didn't like it at least he would have more legos. He opened it up at was like "ehh". No big deal, kind of whay I expected. A few days later he decided to build it. He now loves it and wishes he got it sooner. I'm very happy I took a chance.

This was a fun build and didn't take too long to put together. The Scuttler after assembly is pretty heavy and isn't very maneuverable, but looks great sitting there as a display piece. The front legs are extendable and both the front and back legs can rotate a good amount to give it different crouching positions. Unfortunately, there's no space in the head to fit any minifigure. As for the minifigures, as always, the details didn't disappoint.
