The BEST helmet for BIG heads!
I got the XXL size and can say this is absolutely the best helmet fit and functionality I have ever experienced. Here's the breakdown on helmet choices: 1. Bicycles: First is the typical affordable ($20) bicycle helmet or hardhat baseball cap which most people wear and is good for maybe 15mph but useless if it is not strapped on tight. I know this from racing 10-speeds and taking wipeouts. If you look at fail compilations on bicycles, scooters, and bikes, you'll see there is a lot of faceplants. Faceplants mean inexorable agony and reconstructive surgery for the next year. Really, is it worth saving 50 bucks for this? Toss this option out. 2. Ebikes, scooters: Next is the thicker full coverage helmet like the ILM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BQQN8KY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 This is a good choice for most riders riding about 25mph. It is comfortable, light and has a visor to protect against faceplants. You can get a non-tinted visor too for riding at night. Note it costs $70. 3. Next is a dirtbike / mountainbike helmet with full head and face protection like the Fox V1: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098G5JHZZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1 This is a good offroad option to around 30-40 mph. I find these terribly uncomfortable, bulky, and hot though. Very hard to find an XXL size. Note price of $85. 4. The helmet of this review has some great features: a. Very comfortable. b. Excellent peripheral view and ability to see behind me with 90 deg neck turn. c. Full face clear visor. A must. Besides faceplants, rain, puddle, or sprinklers can temporarily blind you. d. Switch operated tinted sun visor. e. Really felt as functional as the ILM. f. Easy on and off g. Great deal at $65. h. Really hits the sweet spot for value. I wouldn't go for much more than 40 mph on this, which meets my requirements. I think it is an excellent choice and I have been really looking forward to rides with it. I am primarily an off-roader. 5. Beyond 40 mph i.e. motorcycles with riding speeds 50-80 mph, I have been told by pro bike racers to get the best helmets which go for $600. A friend of mine, a retired pro racer, explains it like this: 1. At these speeds, you can easily get crippled or dead. 2. Helmets are not the department in your life to save money. 3. With a $5000 deductible for most health plans, it's a no-brainer to spend $1000 on safety gear. 4. Get a neck support collar made to mate with the helmet. Helmets don't prevent neck injuries. Having the right safety gear gives me confidence at all times. This includes dirt-bike grade elbow pads, knee braces, chest/back protection, and padded shirts/pants. Choking on a jump is the pathway to pain. Safety gear makes the experience more enjoyable and allows me to progress in skill and confidence. If you don't survive the learning curve, you will never get to enjoy the great riding sports which give wings to mere ground dwellers. Ride on.

YEMA open faceed helmet
Don't be fooled, this is an excellent helmet. Great price, high quality design and ergonomics. Love this helmet. Prefect fit for the head and comfortable too. Gonna get another one with different colors.

Pretty good for the low price. Has lower profile...but it's NOT an HJC
This is a good, inexpensive lower profile helmet (so you don't look like a bubble-head. My HJC makes one look like a 'bubble head'). The one thing I don't like is the clear shield doesn't have enough 'clicks' for when I want to open a little bit in increments. It jumps right to a higher open level than my HJC helmet had. In addition to sun visor operation being more difficult. The HJC has an easier pull-down mode for sun visor and a 'spring' return button on top that flips it back up easily. BUT, for the price, it's pretty good.

10/10, 100% Recommend It | e-Scooter
I love this! I use to ride 10 miles to and from work, Mon-Fri. I live in Florida, where it's in the 90s. And what I love about this helmet, is that you do not have to experience that terrible heat. It shields you from it. I use this motorcycle to not only protect myself from the heat, but to also see during the rain, to avoid bugs flying in my face on my escooter, and to shield me from the morning cold. I have asthma so, sometimes, it makes me cough. At first, I was concerned that the helmet would make me overheat but it did the opposite. Ventilation is great. I love the sun visor. Again, I live in Florida, so the sun shines super bright. It's not heavy on your head, but the strap helps to ensure it's at the right angle. And having white is great if you ride an escooter because it really makes you noticeable to drivers! Overall, I give it a 10/10. I love it.

Great helmet
I have been riding motorcycles and motor scooters since i was 15 and am now 79, so, i have owned many helmets. This is one of my favorites. The description of this helmet is perfect except they do run small. I measured my head and ordered the recommended size medium. I could barely squeeze my head in. I returned it and got my refund the same day. I immediately ordered a large which fits perfectly. Before I ordered this helmet I visited a helmet store. I found the same helmet (different name) for $50 more. So, great price, stylish, great fit. I disagree with some of the other reviews. Sun glasses slide easily into the helmet, which I prefer to the darker sun shade inside the helmet, but this is strictly a personal preference. And the included shades do not hit my large nose. The clear face shield raises and lowers easily and stays where I put it. The ear spaces are perfect even for my big ears. I have learned that air vents on most helmets are a waste. I like the quick release chin strap which is my first. It comes with a cloth bag which I will put over the helmet while it is in the garage. It also comes with 4 reflective strips which I probably wonโt use, and a cleaning cloth like those for glasses. I donโt normally write reviews, but this product deserves 5 stars. I highly recommend this helmet.

Not true to size chat
The helmet looked good but it was not true to size, runs larger for the one I received. Had to send it back. No more online helmet purchases for me.

Great safe helmet at a reasonable cost, pairs well with XPG X1.
Helmets can be really pricey and when I first looked at this one, I thought it can't be that great at the price, but I was wrong. The helmet that more than adequate protection for your head, it would be extremely rare this would be damaged in an accident, the hard foam is nearly 3/4" thick and the ABS shell is pretty tough. I really love the combination of flip up face shield and flip down inner sunshade, as first I though the shade wasn't lowering enough but I had the helmet back too far on my head, a simple adjustment forward solved 2 problems for me, the foam padding was shifting my eyeglasses up on my held, rolling the helmet forward puts my eyeglass frames in a nice notch between the side pads and the top pads and bring the sunshade down to almost touching my nose, in a good position. I get ventilation to my face under the shield. The main shield can also be used in the up or down position, up for slower riding for ventilation and down for fast riding for face protection and quieter ride. Both shields stay were I put them and the side lever quickly flips down the sunshade so I no longer wear sunglasses. Clarity through both shields is fine if you keep the bugs off. I also paired this helmet with the XPG X1 bluetooth speaker system and the speakers fit well in the ear clearance cavity. I use speaker extenders to get the speaker close to my ears for best sound. Overall the combination is perfect, all for about $100 and I feel perfectly safe.
