We use this item multiple times a day when feeding our beef cows for a year now! Great quality!! Any farmer knows how fast cows will destroy net wrapped bales if not removed fast enough! This is very convenient, easy to replace the blade for ultimate sharpness! Holds up and gets the job done!

My husband says it works very well on his wrapped hay bales. His only complaints have nothing to do with the device itself. He just noticed that the wrap sometimes freezes to the bottom of the bales and gets trapped and broken off into the hay in pieces and is difficult to remove from the hay. Something this tool can’t help with. But ithe tool has a sharp blade, works well and seems reasonably priced. Would recommend.

This is a great Christmas gift for a farmer that has everything.

Disappointed. Both screws worked loose within a week. Fortunately found both, seriously apply blue loctite before use. It really needs to come with loctite on both screws. Honestly would not buy it again.

OK, i had this in my cart for a very long time as i just struggled to pay for this unit when my old box cutters worked just fine. BUT, i figured let's give it a try. Overall, i do appreciate the length of the tool and it does make it easier to cut as long as you keep a very sharp blade on it. the blade does tuck away to keep it safe and not accidentally cut you. it's a little long to keep in my tractor and keep out of the way. I found a fix for this and it may not be an issue for everyone. BUT, is it worth the money for the extra benefit you get: for me, a mediocre yeah, but I still feel it has some utility, but also it's overpriced. if it were half or 2/3 the current price, i'd have one in my truck and tractor.

Brilliant for bulk bags

Appears well built and looking forward to using it this winter when we feed with hay nets. It is always awkward to remove the net/twine from a bale after it has been placed in a slow feeder net and this should work well.

I bought it to cut up carpets ,so it's easier to raise them . Doesn't put strain on the knees .
