What is the difference between the 690 & 692?

DeWalt Model DCN692B also features a 2 Speed Selector Switch Optimizes Speed for Fastener Lengths. Otherwise, the specifications are the same.

I see its a great framing gun but can i use it for finishing nails too?

Can you use the new 60V Max battery with this?

the 60V Max battery will not work on all 20V DeWALT. It will only work on the 20V Max, which this is.

Yes. They are 8p and will work as well. The 6p nail are short, so the sell them in a larger quantity. They are also bright common. Your selection is galvanized, so they are sold in a smaller box. As long as the nails are .113 thickness and 30 degree angle, they will work. I only user DeWalt nails in DeWalt guns. Fewer issues.
