Great watch does what it says
Maybe I have a different idea of what constitutes "complicated", but this watch is the least complex digital watch I've ever owned. I figured out how to set and use the watch in less than five minutes. No worries. The vibration alarm is perfect for me. I am a bit hard of hearing, and this solves a lot of problems for me. While the vibration alert might not be sufficient to wake me, it does quite well in alerting me to alarms that I've set for reminders. Both the alarm function and timer functions perform perfectly. If you need more than one alarm to set, I'm sure Casio has a watch with that feature. Just not at this price point. I've listened to the audible alarm, and I just can't hear it in ambient noise conditions. But that vibration alert works perfectly. The stop watch works well, as does the illumination. The illuminator is a sort of white light that appears to originate from the bottom of the watch face, and it makes the dial very easy to read in the dark. As far as the ten year battery, well who knows? I don't know when the watch was made, or when the battery was put in, so only time will tell. Doesn't really matter, as changing one of these batteries just involves some precision screwdrivers and a new battery. Takes all of five minutes to accomplish. Go ahead, it's a decent watch for the price.

A good watch overall
It’s a good watch, and the display is easy to read in all light conditions. My only criticisms are that the band buckle is plastic and seems like it could easily break, and also that the timer function does not automatically restart.

Acuracy
The most import important thing to me is that it keeps accurate time. In my opinion Casio is probably the most accurate of the moderately priced watches. I sync the time with the naval observatory clock. My previous watch would be 30 seconds ahead within 2 weeks. This watch appears to spot on since my last sync 5 days ago. I expect this watch to be well within the the +/- 30 seconds per month as advertised. Not all of them may be this accurate. Depends on the crystal they used. Also easy to read. The illumination is excellent in the dark. Another important feature is it displays day, date and time on one screen. No need to push any buttons to get the additional info.

Good Vibration Watch
Things I like about this watch is Timer Countdown featurer. I set it to 1 min interval and at END it will give 10 Vibrations and reset to 1min, and in upper font it gives current time. BUT if as the timer is vibrating , I press lower right button, it will reset to one minute, so you can string together a number of 1 min intervals. It doesn't have a repeating countodwn timer, but actually, I like the Casio Version because I have to become AWARE of the vibrations at END, and just touch lower Right button once, to start NEW minute. I have Timex Vibration watchs that does have auto-repeating mode, which is nice too, but I NOW prefer the Casio OPTION! I like that the LIGHT button is on bottom NAMED ... LIGHT. Works great at night. I practice AWARENESS training, so this watch is great for me using Countdown Timer ... to BE HERE NOW. :) As you use the Countdown Timer you will become aware over time to the Vibrations. And if you don't notice them, ... it just means your dreaming ... and wake up and pay attention. :)

Good watch for the money
A good watch which can handle rough conditions . Great price considering all of the functions that it has. Let down by a poor quality wrist band that breaks within only a few months of usage.... Replacement bands are extremely difficult to install

Consistent Casio Quality
I have owned several Casio watches, mainly for work. Now, I'm retired and still wear one for daily use. There are a lot of negative reviews regarding the dark screen on this model. I have no problem viewing this screen. At first glance, if you are used to the lighter screen, it does appear difficult on the eyes. I would compare it to looking at a photo negative, (if you're old enough to remember film cameras). My advice would be to wear it for a day or so in order to get used to the different look. All of the buttons are easy to operate, especially the "light" button. You can't go wrong with Casio.
