You get what you pay for
It’s cheap: cheap quality, cheap results, won’t last me longer than a couple months. But for what it is, it works ok. It’s a good beginner set but it will need to be replaced.

Perfect size for cards
I used this press to make small pieces of paper that I then printed and used to make cards. Because of its size it doesn’t need a lot of space to use.

Had to sand all the edges........ OUCH
So many splinters.... I opened it and had to immediately pull out my sand paper. It was like they chopped the wood slapped it together and shipped it. OUCH! Be prepared to sand it down first or you’re in for a night of digging with tweezers. Works okay for actual use but damn what a careless thing to send... thank goodness it was me opening it and not a kid...

Poor quality overpriced
First impressions are that this will not last long. Wood was splintered & very poor quality; Almost balsa wood like. Hinges weren't on straight & due to poor quality wood, won't stay fixed for long. They are also not galvanised so will rust very quickly. Was actually really shocked at how much this cost given the quality is so poor. There is also no ledge within the frame which gives the paper its border. This will be ok if you want to give papermaking a quick go (but still way overpriced for the quality) but not for someone who will use regularly. Wish I had read reviews before buying as I now have to buy a properly made one as this one is going straight in bin.

I’m expecting it to be dysfunctional
The media could not be loaded. You can see that there is a dip where the screen is, and I’m a bit worried about how the paper making will go. I’ve made paper before, and my last screen was stapled to the top of the wood, not in the middle if you get what I mean. You can’t directly transfer the paper to the cloth to dry. I’m expecting this to be messy. I don’t see the point of the border hinged on the top if there’s a dip.
