I have baught this product many times and I can definitely notice that it helps! Have a feeling I'll be buying it for many years to come. EXCEPT for this last time. I opened the bottle and found white powder all over the inside!? I am assuming it's just a broken pill but can't know for sure... Is it safe to take them as is?

I've been using the other name brand sleep aid (similar ingredient but with "proprietary blend" stuff as well). Because it is expensive I thought to try straight Tryptophan. The price on this is great, and I notice the same, if not better sleep. I love this natural alternative - as melatonin straight does nothing for me, and the pharmaceutical sleep aids knock me out for the next day. Good product, great price.

I was so afraid of straying from my regular brand of L-Tryptophan, but I had to when they were out of stock. But I'm so glad I tried this brand. The capsules are easy to take (3 per serving) and they start to make me sleepy in about 45 minutes. And it's just a nice, natural sleepiness that allows you to calm down and fall asleep in a gentle way. Not like the sledge-hammer sleep you get with a prescription pill, with the inevitable hangover that follows. This is a good choice for an evening calmer-downer, with no hangover the next day at all.
