This is the Go-To product for weed control
Over 20 years using pre-emergent products and this is the best. Much cheaper than the liquid form and more effective. That's saying a lot ... the liquid form was the best there was. Spray in January or well before ground temp nears 50 degrees and STOP germination before the weeds pop. Works better every year. Do NOT spray this in any area you every want to plant seeds. Its for gravel and areas you never want growth. Works at over 90% - you may see a weed but nothing like you used to see...

Pain in the butt to spread, but effective and very affordable!
I have a Northern Alabama bermudagrass lawn, so that tells you the kind of weeds I deal with: Crabgrass, Goosegrass, Barnyard grass, Foxtail, Sedge, Clover, Lambsquarter, Plantain, Purslane, Thistle, Chickweed, Yellow Sweet Clover, and my *worst* enemy: Spurge. This product has been effective at keeping them all at bay.My only problem with it is that you have to mix it in water to spray on your lawn. So, it's not as convenient as granular pre-emergent, but this is WAY MORE cost effective. For my lawn, I can get more than 20 applications out of this for the same cost as the granular equivalent. It took me more than 3 hours to get my whole lawn where a granular takes 30-40 minutes but you can't beat the price!

Appears to be working as advertised
Hint, if applying with a pressurized sprayer, in order to insure the granules don’t continuously clog the nozzle, dissolve in a separate container first and run through a strainer to make sure there are no granules that haven’t been dissolved getting in the container. Add some dye to mark your coverage. Instructions seem to be written for commercial applications so figuring the amounts is not spelled out for you but with a little math it’s doable.

It works
Zero crabgrass emerged this summer, allowing my young fescue to grow in.

Nothing works better WHEN PROPERLY AND APPLIED!
This is a pre-emergent herbicide. It inoculates the soil so that seeds will not germinate. It will NOT kill existing weeds or anything growing above the soil for that matter so be careful not to apply it anywhere you plan to grow something from SEED. Mixed at a rate of .367 oz by weight (approx 1 tablespoon) in 2 gal of water per 1000 sq ft applied twice a year will keep your lawn weed free year around. I have been using it for three years now and I’m totally weed free. And a jug will last me 12 more years!
