This is not good if you need your dog for support. It is narrow compared to a normal sized service dog. If you dog is shorter it will be useless, or if you are tall. I was really hoping cause insurnace does not cover items for visually impaired people's service dogs. I was hoping to save some cash but I actually wasted money. My doggo is a standard sized german shepherd, so he isn't super huge but I can easily pet his head and not have to bend over I am 5 5 ok ok I am 5ft 4in he is a healthy weight about 75lbs but this thing is too narrow to use for guide or stability.
