Fusion climbing gear seems well made.
Steel is heavier than aluminum climbing gear, and I prefer steel over aluminum, as steel is a stronger metal. I would not using this aluminum Fusion ring to climb or rappel, but would use it only on a gear line when working on cutting tree branches when I need to climb. It's seems perfectly safe and suitable for that purpose. I use a Fusion Alloy steel D carabiner that has a 50 Kn Body 3600Lb Gate rating, and meets ANSI Z 359.1 standards. I know aluminum alloys are the industry standard, but I will only hook up a steel carabiner to my climbing harness. Never use a carabiner rated less than 22kN.

Super sketchy, would NOT use at height or for life safety
Depending on what you're using this for, it may be OK for your purposes. Low slackline line locker? Hanging a hammock? Will probably work fine. However, for anchor points or arborist/tree climbing use where your life could depend on the reliability of this product, I would NOT trust it. The more I dig into this ring and the "manufacturer", the less I trust them both.1) The description is incorrect; both here on Amazon, and on Fusion's website. The inner/outer diameter of the rings I've received (November 2016 / March 2017) are 45mm (ID), 69mm (OD). The ID in the official description is 59mm ("2 1/3 inch"). Amazon reviewers as of 2015 reported a 59mm ID. So, the specs of the ring seem to have silently changed with Fusion not even caring enough to update their website. This may indicate a change of contract manufacturer?2) The Amazon images show "CA USA", but the ring is NOT made in the USA (according to Fusion) Their company representative I spoke with was unable to provide its country of manufacture. (The rings I've received were not marked USA in the same way.)3) Fusion's website prominently offers test results for all their products; but have been unresponsive to my questions and requests for test data.4) Fusion's similar smaller ring (FP-8166-2) can't even decide if it's rated to 25kN or 32kN. The marking and specifications are inconsistent (even on Fusion's website.)Aluminum rings are not certified to CE/EN/UIAA standards like carabiners or other climbing products. There's a serious gap in the standards. The ratings are self-certified; and you're trusting the reputation of the distributor and manufacturer to keep you safe. This isn't academic - arborists have been seriously injured where low-quality aluminum rings have fractured and catastrophically failed under low loads.

Works well for slacklining
Overall, these rings work fantastic for slacklining.A word of caution:These are aluminum, not steel. Aluminum is a much softer metal and will develop small dents and dings from heavy use with carabiners. These small dents can have sharp edges that may cut or damage your slacklines over time. I strongly recommend getting line sleeves to protect the longevity and quality of your slacklines. I also use small metal files when necessary to smooth out any sharp nicks. That said, these rings are light and travel well in my pack. I'll definitely buy more in t he future.

Good product great price.
The only thing NOT to like is that if you drop these they will scratch and get burrs. If somebody wanted to go above and beyond. Please consider putting a plastic ring over the outside half of the ring. So that a drop doesn't cause damage. They are both light weight and silky smooth. Runners can be slide on with one hand.I use these for Buckingham savers and also spiders (leg) and repelling.

Works good
This ring works great for a tie out rope for a very large (>150 lb) dog! Now he can get exercise even if I'm not at home to walk him, or if I don't have the time to run with him before going to school.

No hassle purchase
Product was shipped on time and was exactly what i ordered. Minus 1 star for over packaging. A plastic bag for each ring that was inside another plastic bag, and this was for each of the 12 rings ordered. Come on, wake up.

Incorrect size dimensions in product description
The size is not as described. The ring I received has an O.D. of 2.720" which is fine but the I.D. is only 1.778 which is unacceptable.

Don't waste your money
Looks strong, but no EN marks or any certification, you could use as a rappel ring but nothing else, also they are very big(like a knot would pass through)
