ADONIS Zaatar Jordanian Blend (1lbs,454g)

Has all I expected taste-wise, and was much fresher than some I've used. I can't list all the ways I use it, but they include soups/broths, meat dishes and accompaniments to dairy. The only way I do not use it is in curries of various types; I don't think it would complement the other ingredients. The price for my order was better than some, certainly for the amount. It was delivered promptly and intact. The only problem I had is that it was not supplied in a glass jar as described. It came in a plastic jar which I naturally had to replace. But that is not worth reducing my rating to 4 stars.

I lived almost 5 years in Jordan and I came to know the real taste of Jordanian Zaatar This Zaatar does not have the Jordanian Blend. A Jordanian Blend Zaatar is delicious and with the zesty flavour enriched with real Sumac This Zaatar is terrible, very very disappointed in spending my money on something that tastes with anything apart from real Jordanian Blend Zaatar

Compared to several thyme or Zaatar products in the market, this particular brand is fresh and maintained the real thyme taste, a strong flavor with a bit a salt that makes it ideal for zaatar pizza or just a regular sandwich with olive oil and some cucumbers and tomatoes.

Very good.

Eat it almost daily ....got compliments from family members that try it, I make a mix with olive oil on pita and good cheese on top, toast for 5 mins...delish breakfast!
