When the crib arrived, the headboard had some nicks and dings in it to the point that you could see the raw wood beneath the paint. I've come to accept this as a risk when buying things online, what I just hope for is a good customer service experience when it happens. Luckily, that's what I got from ShopFreely. The customer service rep responded to my message within 24 hours and was very understanding and willing to help. They shipped out a new headboard and I had it a few days later. This crib is just as well constructed as our other crib that cost $300 more and was just as easy to assemble. If I ever have to buy another crib (I've got two so I'm pretty sure I won't need to), I'll definitely be getting one from this company.

**Q: Do you need to buy separate parts to convert the crib into a regular bed?**
A: they provide the parts to convert crib into toddler bed.... (aka there is a separate railing)... but converting it into a regular bed requires buying the additional conversion kit

**Q: What size mattress should I buy for this crib?**
A: Any crib mattress (52 x 27.2") will do.

**Q: I'm assuming the 48.4" listed is the height of the back rail. What is the height of the front rail?**
A: 34" is what I just measured..

**Q: Mattress comes with it?**
A: Nope;( but the crib is awesome!
