First Essentials by NUK Fun Grips Hard Spout Sippy Cup, 10 oz, 2-Pack

These are the holy grail of sippy cups for me. The hard spout eliminates the issue I've had with all my daughter's other sippy cups: she'd bite through nipples and eventually cause the cup to leak. She was also smart enough to figure out if you put the sippy cup on its side and press on the nipple, you can circumvent the "spill proof" design of almost any sippy cup. The truth is, if a sippy cup has a nipple, it's not leak proof. You need a hard spout.I've had these cups for a few months now and they're still going strong. No leaks whatsoever. No spills. My daughter has left teeth marks on the spouts but that's it. The only complaint I have is the ridged design on the inside can be hard to clean along with the very tight spaces in the sippy lid itself, and the flow control/spill stopper insert especially. You would probably have to soak the insert in some kind of solution to get it properly clean. I use a Dawn dish puff meant for glasses to clean inside the sippy cup and I find that works great.These sippy cups are all you'll ever need and I wish I had bought these before spending money on many different types of sippy cups that advertise as leak and spill proof.Only thing that would be great is if these cups had handles. My daughter at 15 months had no issue holding this cup, but I can see how younger kids might struggle without handles.

I will only buy NUK cups. Nothing else works. I have three kids, my oldest is 13 and he used these waaaay back when. With babies number two and three I sought out the cups with “the little white insert thingy!!” Thankfully both times I was able to rediscover the NUK brand. These are inexpensive, don’t leak, kids love them, just amazing!!! These are still as reliable as when I first used them 12 years ago and most brands can’t say that! They aren’t usually super flashy, but we don’t mind. I was excited to find this unusual new color combo pack on Amazon and ordered it immediately. My daughter was excited to be handed a new color cup this morning I can appreciate the change too. They are just different enough from the old purple and pink cups. The cups are very glossy, or maybe that’s just because our old ones are so scratched. I usually use these cups for 2-3 months before replacing them. To be clear, I replace them because I feel like the plastic may Harbor bacteria that can’t be cleaned away, but even after 3 months, they STILL DONT LEAK!! Occasionally if your toddler throws these really hard the white plastic but may pop out, but that’s rare to get a cup where it fits loosely enough for that, even over time. I can’t say when is the last time that has happened, but it’s happened once or twice before in the distant past.

Good cup for my 3yrOld. At first she didn’t want it but go used to it within a few days. We put Green Goodness Boathouse Juice in it and she loves it. We started juicing Carrots,Apples, Pineapple and spinach… works really well. As long as juice it boy thick- it will not leak and easy to clean.
