Do not believe the negative reviews. If you use the correct gauge wire for your power supply, proper ground, battery that will maintain voltage and an understanding of what the controls on the amp are you will not be disappointed! Most negative reviews are done by individuals who are not educated in proper installation of amplifiers and tend to blame the units for failure. These units are rated at 12.6 volt not 14.4 volt.. The RMS numbers are actually lower than what the amp actually produces. If you're on a budget and looking for an amp to add to your setup then you need to look no further. I am in no way affiliated with Orion,I have not been asked to provide a positive comments or anything along those lines.
