Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream 50ml / Anti-wrinkle, Brightening

I purchased this product twice. I like the way it feels and smells. Not sure if it had made a difference in my lines and wrinkles because I do not use it everyday. I will definitely continue to buy this product

I'm 36 years old and for a good year I have been neglecting my face and routine. I was using the Sulwhasoo set, quite expensive, but after realizing fine lines and my face looking dull and blah, I did some research on SokoGlam to see what products would be best for a pre-40 year old like myself. Let's be honest, I don't want to look like a glow worm when I get to my 40s. SokoGlam had some great tips, but the products were super expensive and I was able to find them on Amazon at better prices. Here's what you'll want to know about this moisturizer...- It has a typical light fragrance. I think it's nice if you like herbal and floral mixed together.- It is creamy and light, and soaks better into your skin when you pat it into your skin.- It's a very moisturizing, my skin feels and looks great.- It works well with other products. This is the moisturizer I put on before my primer. Since using this moisturizer (and other new products) my skin is softer, it's brighter, it's firmer, wrinkles and fine lines are either gone or diminished pretty darn good.I think this is a great product, keep in mind, I only use this during my morning routine. I use a sleeping pack at night.

I have very dry skin and I have tried SO SO SO many products...everything from Tatcha to Neutrogena in the quest to moisturize my skin. When I found this cream, I was delighted with how moist it made my skin! It doesn't break me out, and as far as I can tell, it doesn't have any scent at all. It has almost a gel-cream texture, and my skin just drinks it up. I slather this stuff all over my face and neck (it can be a bit tacky on the skin, but give it a few minutes to sink in and then use your hands to pat and press it into your skin, and it will get rid of the tacky feeling). I love this cream so much that I have already used up and repurchased another container...and I will continue to do so. I also LOVE and use the Joseon serums. I highly recommend a duo of the serum and this cream for really amazing skin.

What a wonderful moisturizer. It’s so gentle, and calms my skin, safe enough and so soothing, it’s my favorite to use after Derma-needling, no stinging or irritation. Moisturizers aren’t meant to be treatments, they are meant to simply moisturize the skin. Today, so many company put everything but the kitchen sink in their creams- yet, these treatments aren’t stable enough to last in open jars. So you’re paying for ingredients that can’t work anyway, all those chemicals adds irritants, and a hefty price tag to boot. This cream does what it says, it makes the skin so supple, soft, plump, and is incredibly gentle and free of irritating ingredients. If you have dehydrated skin you will love this. (Dehydration means your skin needs water, not oil. It’s common to be oily and dehydrated- if your face feels tight, your skin is overproducing oil to make up, and will stop when it gets a drink of water!) This cream is full of humectants (Ingredients that week water) and your thirsty skin will drink it in. If your skin is dry, this cream isn’t oily, but you will love it with an oil such as rosehip to quench your dry skin. The price is also, excellent for such a high quality cream! If you want extras, such as retinoids or antioxidants, use the serum of your choice after cleansing, and top it off with this lovely cream. I love knowing I have a moisturizer that never makes me breakout and that makes my skin feel soothed and comfortable. I’ve never had a friend not love it either, it’s gentle enough for everyone! I want to start off by saying the packaging for this product is beautiful. I love that they added the traditional korean paper on the top. The font of the brand is gorgeous. With that is mind I took two stars off for the actual product not just what is inside. I have used the Beauty of Joseon Peeling gel and loved it. Yes, they have a peeing gel which is super gentle and great if you have dry or sensitive skin. I don’t believe it is available on amazon or in the states though I could be wrong But I got mine in Korea. I’m a huge loyal fan of the Belif The True Cream Mosturizing Bomb. I love to get big 75ml sizes on those in Korea because I can’t seem to find them that big here in the states. But the cream can be a little heavy in the mornings. So I was trying to find a thinner cream. I decided to give this one a shot it being on amazon and easier to get than having to wait until I go to Korea to visit family next summer. And while yes this cream is thin and light enough for the daytime. It’s scent was too overpowering for me. About 30 minutes after applying I started developing little white bumps in the neck area where I test apply it. Having sensitive skin from isotretinoin I can’t just slather my face with things and have learned to spot test. I washed it off immediately and after a couple of days they finally went away. My mother ended up taking the cream and she too said the scent was a bit overpowering but her skin did not get irritated. She tends to lean towards the oily side of things. So who knows if you don’t have sensitive skin this might work for you. She’s been using it for a while now and her skin always looks super nice and glowy under her matte cushion foundations

Firstly....this is the genuine article. I bought some in Busan two years ago before Covid and this is identical in every way. I am 64 and am a big skincare addict. My skin still gets breakouts of I use something too rich. The T Zone is still where I get breakouts if skin care too rich. This is rich so I don't use it on my t zone, the rest of my face, gently around my eyes and my neck ....it works. Used regularly, but for me sparingly it looks as if you've had fillers!!!! My skin doesn't always need it, maybe once or twice a week, the rest of the time I use Super Facialist Vitamin C and LOreal Water Based liquid. But without this AMAZING CREAM I would have more wrinkles I'm sure. I also use their serum in times of need, if I've been ill or in winter when skin is dry in Winter. I also find, even though my t zone still is prone to spots if I use this cream on my upper lip it prevents those fine lines getting worse!...Seriously great stuff, my Korean friends swear by it!

At first I was a bit meh, but using this regularly I'm impressed. I layer serum underneath which makes heavy creams a bit much, but this is a bit lighter and sinks in well and no greasy aftermath. I'm noticing a slight brightening (niacinimide) and skin is lovely and soft and the texture improved. I'm still testing creams (oh so many creams) but this is up there with the best so far. For night time I use this with extra serums or swap it for a richer cream. I like the scent, it's not fake floral but pleasant. Behaves well with sunscreen over the top, I don't wear make-up so can't commen on that. Packaging is delightful. I have combination / dehydrated skin, 40 yrs old.

Gorgeous face cream. It works. It is a normal size pot no idea why people say it’s tiny it’s the same size as Olay or garnier moisture creams. Similar quality too but in a beautiful pot.

I never waste my money on creams as coconut oil is the only thing that doesn't seem to break me out - but I felt like maybe coconut oil wasn't cutting it now that I'm four decades old. Maybe I need some extra help. Because I'm a sucker who goes in for pretty packaging and has watched too many Korean Dramas set in the Joseon era, I bought this. I love it! I just use a tiny amount, spread it on my face, pat my face until the stickiness goes away - and I'm very happy with the results. I feel like fine lines are smoothed and redness is soothed. Works for me!

I wanted to use it for a while so I could write a worthwhile review but it's been 10 days and it's been so good I had to say something. I have dry, sensitive, rosacea-prone skin and from the very first application I could tell that it was going to moisturise brilliantly. It starts off feeling a little sticky but soaks in well and leaves behind soft, plump skin with no oiliness. I no longer have any persistent dry rough patches.I initially got a few blemishes but my skin always does that with new products and after the first couple of days, they cleared up and no more have appeared. My skin looks and feels the best it has in ages and the only thing I changed was this cream. Very pleased.
