I started using this putty after hand surgery. At first I had to have help to both open the bag the pots of putty were in as well as help opening the tub lid and then getting the putty out of the tub. For the easy one - yellow I was surprised by how hard I found this being I was 7 days post surgery, an healthy 36 year old and able to do most things with out help.It works really well and is fun to play with while watching tv, but I wouldn’t recommend it for older patients or those living alone.

I recently had surgery on my hand/wrist & the physio recommended that I bought some hand putty. There were so many to choose from & varying different prices but because I only needed them for a short period I opted for the cheaper ones. They are great & the different weights are definitely noticeable. I used them a lot. Then I needed to have the same surgery on the opposite hand & I thought I’d need to buy some more but I tried these & I was happy that they were just like new. The only downside is that they are difficult to get off soft furnishings/fabric…as most curious kids do, mine had a go & accidentally dropped a bit of the red one onto my duvet cover! It’s stained but it’s not a problem for me.

Great quality putty for completing hand exercises. Best value for money I could find at the time of ordering. Varying strengths of putty ready for when hand strength improved.

Bought for my 2 grandsons aged 12 and 6. Both have ALN, ideal keeps them regulated and distresses. Great purchase

Would prefer if there was a softer putty as the softest is still a bit firm for coming back from injury. Larger volumes of putty would also be good to use a more open headed grip on it. Come in good cases though and very easy to store. Softens a little as it warms up.
