I chose this monkey because it looked so much like an actual chimp. He is just the right size and he is soft and has such a beautiful face. My Grandson will love it.

I'm obsessed with this stuffed animals. You really can hang him off any shelf or table top... which makes him a lot of fun to move around the house. It also makes it easy to have him sit upright on a table top. Well made, soft, and fun! Kid-approved! :)

This chimpanzee is fantastic! Very well-made and will hang anywhere with it's grip paws. It is not a full-sized chimpanzee. It is more like a "baby chimp". But, very well-constructed and a high-quality item.

Ordered this guy as a Christmas present for my animal loving, wild-boy (3). I am paring it with "Me...Jane" as a two item gift. I am very excited to introduce him to my childhood (okay and grown up) hero, Jane Goodall, and to hopefully inspire/channel his wild ways. The chimp is very soft and cute, but the feature that hooked me was his weighted hands. I THINK my 3 year old will be able to hang the chimp off his shoulders/back...won't know for sure until Christmas morning, but the hanging feature is very cool. My adult shoulder is too wide for the hands to grip, but he easily hung off my doorknob, standing fan, etc. The hands are weighted without being hard (think a dense/display stuffed animal...I wouldn't be surprised if they had a sawdust fill) and have little grippers inside that are presented like fingerprints and work as such. They are not sticky or anything, but definitely aid in the gripping. I may be a bit biased with my pre-love of Jane Goodall, but I love the pairing of the book (which feature's Jane receiving her stuffed chimp as a little girl) and stuffed chimp so much, I'd almost definitely gift the combo again for a kid's birthday party.My only small drawback is the chimp is a bit smaller than anticipated. I'm a little spatially-challenged, but I was still a little surprised at the size. The length tracks as advertised, but I was anticipating the chimp's body to be a bit bigger. His arms are longer than his whole body...I would guesstimate the chimp's body is maybe 7-8" long total. Ultimately this is fine, but when I first started looking for a Christmas present stuffed animal, I was hoping for a bigger find. The hanging feature will be the best part to my kiddo, so I'm happy regardless, but it's something to be aware of.

The monkey looks exactly like pictured and is so cute I almost kept it for myself. It hangs really well as you can see in my pictures. I didn't even know it had the weighted hand to hang like it does but it was a super bonus. No smell, delivered on time, item as expected if not better. YOU NEED THIS MONKEY TOO.

Chance is without a doubt the cutest, sweetest chimpanzee I've ever seen. He is very life like in appearance. We bought it for our great granddaughter who is currently obsessed with chimpanzees. His best feature is the bean bags in his hands that allow him to hang on like a real chimp. He is extremely well made. Sturdy with nice soft fur. I find myself playing with him. Also, it was nice that the chimp's life was explained so clearly on the tag. Where they live, etc.

Very adorable face, realistic yet cute. Hands are weighted and are able to hang on things. Size might be a bit misleading according to the description because it it sized by its arm reach not height but still a nice sized plush. Very good quality and has held up to constant carrying by my 3 year old.
