Amazing controller. Great instructions in manual. Had this hooked up and running in a few hours. Amazing customer support. The DDCS V3.1 is easier to wire up than the DDCS V4.1 because you have to mount a circuit board to the back of your box on V4.1 and the control board for V3.1 mounts straight to controller.

I just powered it up today. I must say this is a REAL controller. I have several CNC controlles at work on large 300 amp plasma tables to CDC press brakes . I got this for my homebuilt CNC router in my woodworking shop that has no internet so I wanted a stand alone controller that I could load a program on a flash drive and cut. I was skeptical I could get one that would work for this little money. But when I turned it on I see something familiar. Very simple instructions clearly written with instructions in Plain English simple to understand. I could let my 13 year old grandson hook this thing up with very little supervision. They email the manual and it is top-notch. So good I spent $22 having it printed and spiral bound. I haven't put it on my machine yet . If it works as well as it seems I will be very happy. I'll update this in a couple weeks. Very impressed right now!!! Been a good project to keep safe and avoid covid Jerry in Mississippi. Update... Love it easy to operate after you learn how and I am very pleased with the customer service. I had a problem and they sent me another control in two days. If you want a stand alone controller. I recommend this one. It's a little in dept getting it set up. Well worth the time. So far I'd give it 10 stars. Still very happy has not failed to work perfectly every day. I have two more coñtollers for other machines. One router and a plasma. For a no frills controller it is great.

This is a fairly complete system and is easy to install. I am replacing a homegrown CNC controller that was based on an Arduino DUE running G2CORE and CNCJS for the UI. The DDCSv3.1 has only one output for the Y axis (my machine has two parallel steppers for the Y-AXIS), so I had to add an external transistor inverter/buffer to replicate the Y's, but otherwise was a very seamless install. There are plenty of options and configurability provided. So far I am pleased and will update when I have done some cutting with it.

this is a decent' product for the price point, however the instructions are very specific and very many different aspects you have to be able to grasp.

Very good controller does exactly what it is supposed to do. Gives you the total freedom to configure to your needs. Had a problem with the MPG hand held controller and they provided details how to trouble shoot. After troubleshooting it was discovered that the MPG hand held controller was bad, they immediately sent another that worked properly. A++ just have to be patient due to time delay they are in China. Great product I hope it holds up!
