Perfect drying rack for small spaces
My apartment's bathroom is long and narrow. There's not a lot of space for a space-hogging drying rack. This drying rack is fully adjustable from folded in half to flat so fits perfectly in my small bathroom. Its easy to assemble and there's lots of rack space to hang clothing. The only thing is that its not "sturdy"-- i need to be careful when handling so it doesn't pull apart. But I don't have to move it around a lot so I'm ok with that. Its a good value and the right size if you need to dry clothing in a small space.

A great functional drying rack that saves on energy.
The Whitmore space maker folding drying rack is awesome. I have two of these that I bought at different times. The second time I got it I was thrilled because I really had to dig looking for it on Amazon. I think they must have been out of it for quite some time. I love this rack because I can dry delicates or whatever over my bathtub. I can lay it out 2 different ways. One can be at an angle leaning against the bathtub wall or it can be at a 90 degree angle sitting on opposite sides of the bathtub ledge. Regarding sturdiness, once in a great while the slim bars that make up this rack will separate, but only if you have dropped it or mishandled it. I love how it collapses into a slim piece so I can just store it right in front of the bathtub when not in use. The outer shower curtain hides it well. This is such an easy and great drying rack!

It will do
Overall it's a piece of plastic that I don't see lasting long. The "turn knob" to "screw into open or closed" mode is not an easy turn, but feels like something that will "strip its gears" sooner or later. I can't imagine that lasting after a few hundred turns to set up and take down. Even when I had it tight to stand up, the one side with "feet" didn't hit the floor level, so another minus for me. The "dowels" or rods are doable and should hold up. I'm just using this to flip small rubber rugs on that I wash off or hose down in the shower after vacuuming. These rugs have little nubby bumps on them, & indents of those bumps on the bottom side ... so the water takes some time to drip off and dry up. I could hang them over the shower rod (or an extra one) ... but still that dripping from higher up is going to splatter where I don't want splatters to dry off too. If it lasts for a few years, it'll be a miracle. Will just cross that bridge if I get to it.For now, this will work just fine.

Easy, versatile, ingenious
This dryer rack was easy to assemble. It's more sturdy than a conventional folding dryer rack. Because it can be used in many different positions, it's versatile and perfect for small spaces. Takes up very little room when folded flat for storage. An ingenious design, really. Where has it been all my life? The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the pivot joints are a little bit finicky, and I'm concerned that the pivot joints might not be as durable as the rest of the rack in the long run.

Not worth the money in my opinion
I like the shape and size of this drying rack. I didn’t buy it to dry clothes though and I think I wouldn’t like it for that purpose.I bought it for my child to lay their clothes across when they haven’t worn it very long so they could wear it again before throwing it in their hamper. It was easy to put together but either some of the poles are longer than others or the plastic nubs they fit over are not uniform because the plastic edge pieces are not secure. And when I set it up, the whole thing is a bit crooked.Hopefully it will work for our purposes and hold the weight of the clothes she will be placing on it.

Small, Versital, light weight
I ordered this to be able to stop air drying items on my bed. This items works great to dry my delicate items. It folds for storage. It is light weight. It can be placed on the bed or a table to have a comfortable working height. The design allows for placing over the bath tub to allow for drippy items without a soggy mess to clean up.

Space saving and versatile
Bought this for my daughter to use in her college dorm room.It was a little tricky to assemble, but between the two of us we were able to hold the poles in place while we inserted them into the corresponding slots on the main arms.It folds easily and you can use it folded over like a tent, or extended and up against the wall. It can also fold flat. This makes it very versatile. She uses it extended because that’s what works best in her space because she doesn’t have the floor space to have it in the tent shape, and then it stores easily behind her closet door. The hinge is stable so you can set the fold at the angle you want it at. It’s fairly sturdy, enough for the use it’s intended for.

Kinda Cheap
The media could not be loaded. This drying rack serves its purpose. It’s easy to store next to a stacked washer and dryer setup, and it has a good amount of storage space. However, the hinges broke almost immediately, and one of the rungs broke off shortly after. I still use it all the time, but I wish the hinges would’ve been better quality so that I could angle it for better air flow to the laundry.
