Styling Gelée – Medium Hold | Styling Gel for Slick Backs and Heatless Curls, Firm Hold, Adds Shine & Controls Frizz, Vegan & Cruelty-Free

I am writing this for the Biologe shampoo, conditioner, gel and hairspray. Having been very sick due to dehydration last winter, I was shocked to find that my hair had broken off and thinned out. I spent hours reading about every label that was CRUELTY FREE and assured their product was the best for the restoration to healthy hair. I took a chance and ordered the Biologe products and am grateful for the results. While I could go back to my original products now that I have a healthy head of hair and it would be far less money, I have such confidence in Biologe and I am so pleased with the fullness, shine and resiliency of my hair that although expensive, absolutely worth it. Because you use very little of all of the products, it becomes cost effective. I can go up to three days without washing because the gel hold and the hairspray keeps my hair looking pretty intact. As many others mention, the products have a lovely fragrance.

This is my husband’s favorite hair gel he’s been using for 20 plus years. They changed their formula but it’s even better.

I have short hair so a little goes a long way. Easy to style with.

I purchased this "gel" because I can't find PM Sculpting gel (firm) anywhere. This product is more liquid than the PM product and it doesn't hold / set quite as well but it isn't intended to be as it's a medium hold product. As such, I'm satisfied. It has a nice, clean scent ... I would prefer unscented but this one is fine. Call me a satisfied customer.

Great stuff. Doesn’t wreak your hair

I bought this gel in an effort to find one that would work with my fine hair. I have a ton of bottles and tubes of hair product that I have discarded because it was too sticky, too heavy, not effective, too smelly or just didn’t do a thing for my hair. I won’t even mention the waste of money. Recently I saw this Biolage gel on Amazon. I thought “what the heck, I’ve tried everything else, I may as well try this one too!” And I’m glad I did. It’s light weight with very little scent. It’s not sticky either. And the big news? It actually works on my fine, limp hair. My hair looks fuller and is easier to blow dry when I use this product. And the overall result is great. No more wasting my money on bad products. This one is a keeper!

For years my husband used Matrix "Hold My Body" gel which was a pourable liquid gel with just a small amount of hold. That was discontinued a while ago and back then I went online purchasing the last bottles I could find from whoever was selling it. So here we were, on that last bottle and in the pursuit of locating another similar gel. Although a great price, drug store gels were all in a tube and too sticky and thick. We tried Ulta and was led to a Paul Mitchell gel that also was too strong of a hold. Amazon is a wonderful tool and this Biology Gelee popped right up and seemed to be very similar to his old gel. I didn't see this sold in any of the stores we visited. It just arrived this afternoon and my husband was anxious to try it. He likes this one better than the original Matrix one! The scent is great, not too smelly especially for a guy and the hold is very light and he loves the pourable consistency as it gets into his hair (not just on the surface like thicker gels) to cover the gray and darken his hair. What a win win for us! Just wish the price was a little better, but we'll take it anyway. Again this isn't a super strong holding gel. I have a pixie cut and need a firmer hold and this doesn't work for me. Perfect for what he needed.

I bought this gelee because my hair stylist has used what I thought was the same thing on my hair and the hold was awesome.. However when it came I decided to call my stylist and confirm it's what she uses. She said no and that her's is in a black bottle and the white is new packaging but lacks the good hold she uses. Very confusing. I'm returning this and not trying it because I love the one she uses in a black bottle. Not sure where I can find that.

After combing out towel dried hair, only about the size of a dime is all you need to give control and shine to curly. Great for styling, great hold without stickiness and hair is easy to manage for days. Scent is very subtle but pleasant. Awesome product. Love Biolage. I used it in my salon for years and now that my uncolored hair is growing out and longer, it is naturally curly! Who knew? Glad I found this product on Prime. I would highly recommend it for any type hair!

I have fine hair that tends to fall out of whatever style I'm going for. This gel works great and can be "refreshed" with a little water. This is also a good bargain. There is enough in the bottle to last me for years!

Finally found a good gel. My curls look good after diffusing I used this with Aveda be curl prep and curl cream. Very pleased.
