Discreet, stylish, and excellent noise balance
I bought the Loop Experience Plus earplugs after hearing a lot of buzz about them in the live music and neurodiverse communities, and I have to say — they’ve lived up to the hype. These are not your average foam plugs — they’re thoughtfully designed, reusable, and deliver impressive sound reduction without muting the world entirely. The Experience Plus model is tailored for reducing noise levels in a balanced way, ideal for concerts, noisy work environments, travel, or even day-to-day use for those with sensory sensitivity. They come in a smart little carry case and include multiple sizes of ear tips (both foam and silicone), so you can get the perfect fit. The fit, for me, was excellent. I used the medium silicone tips and found them snug, comfortable, and secure. They don’t press in uncomfortably like foam can, and they’re light enough to wear for hours without discomfort. The circular "Loop" design sits against the ear discreetly — more like a piece of jewellery than a medical aid — which makes them perfect for wearing out and about. In terms of performance, they strike a fantastic balance. They lower volume significantly, making loud environments bearable, but still let through clear, undistorted sound. At a gig, I could still enjoy the music — the bass was present, the vocals clear, and there was no muffled sensation like you get with foam plugs. They essentially "turn the volume down" without ruining the experience. I’ve also used them in the office when working, on the train, and even while vacuuming — and in every case, they’ve helped reduce stress and distraction without cutting me off from the world. You can still hear speech, alarms, and background noise, just at a much more manageable level. The Plus version includes a little insert that lets you tweak the attenuation level slightly — handy if you need a bit more reduction for certain environments. They’re easy to clean too — just a rinse under warm water and they’re good as new. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that they’re a bit more expensive than standard earplugs, but the performance, comfort, and reusability justify the cost easily. In short, the Loop Experience Plus earplugs are stylish, effective, and thoughtfully engineered. Whether you're dealing with noise sensitivity, going to concerts, or just want to protect your hearing in style, these are a brilliant solution. Highly recommended!

Best gig plugs I've tried - for sound quality and volume reduction
Bought on the recommendation of a friend. Used them for a day-long indoor music festival and was very impressed by the sound quality. I wear earplugs for gigs all the time, hoping I can keep going to gigs for at least another decade. I've tried cheap foam plugs but they muffled the sound and I felt detached from the atmosphere. I have generally used the 2 or 3 "coned" plastic plugs which are comfortable, but with some of them I feel like you lose the live atmosphere. The Loops reduced the volume but I didn't feel like I was losing too much of the atmosphere. A nice aspect of the Loops is they are easy to put in and take out of the ear; some of the cones felt like I was sucking my brains out when I removed them. Comfort - felt good, hardly noticed them. Although after 6 hours I did start to wish I could give my ears a rest. Would I take them into the mosh pit? Have yet to try. Certainly found them secure enough for a good dance. Given the cost, and the fact that even foam plugs come loose, I might leave the mosh-pit test for now. Value for money? Some of the cheaper flexible-cone plugs do a nice job, but the Loops are effective, give a nice sound and are easy to use - but you do wonder why they are so expensive. If I lost one of them? OK its my hearing, but I would probably curse, swallow hard, and buy another pair - perhaps after trying out a cheaper set of plugs. The little round storage case is neat, but a canister would be much better. The round case doesn't feel like it will survive being bashed around in a pocket. Opening it while standing in a dark venue does not feel secure as both plugs could easily fall out. I did try them in a screw top canister (15mm wide opening) but the shape of the Loops meant they got stuck. More research required on this aspect. I got the ones with the additional protective rubber ring insert, but have yet to try it as the basic Loop did a good job. I'm always on the look out for good earplugs - but so far these are proving to be impressive.

Fiddle for the correct fit, but it will never block all noise, not designed to!
Uncomfortable if they aren't in correctly and if there isn't a proper seal they'll be far less effective. Place the earbud in the ear with the loop pointed toward the cheek, then push and twist 180 degrees making a seal and the circle loop bit should twist into your outer ear shell - use the same motion in the opposite direction to safely remove them. Bought these because I'm autistic and have ADHD as well as sensory processing disorder. With my natural hearing, I am able to hear a phone ring in a different classroom to the one I'm in, over two very noisy classes of special needs students (I'd say the only place I could go to that would be noisier would be a gig/concert or the theatre). In short, I tested in a variety of places - the special needs school classroom, at home, on the train, on the bus, walking on the street and out with friends. The loop experience pro does help block annoying humming of machinery and other sounds that distract me - particularly good for public transport where I want to hear just my music, the acoustic channel is brilliant for that so I can see it would be great for musicians and gigs/concert goers. However sometimes it works a tad too well in daily life - conversations are not always easy depending on how the other person communicates, if they're softly spoken, I can hear my breathing better than I can hear them (with loop mute in the loops sealing the acoustic channel - it's only slightly easier with acoustic channel open) and the loops are no good for phone conversations. The pro version comes with loop mute allowing for seal of the acoustic channel and affording 5db extra noise deadening - I find this is good for loud music (I love my Sony noisecancelling headphones up at top whack volume because of the bass vibration and the fact they are best at noisecancelling at full volume) but it will make conversation too hard to pick up on the phone without intense concentration (and in my case as tested whilst at work on a phone call related to work, removal of special school class noise by shutting door after going out into the quieter hall).

These are amazing!
I don’t normally write reviews, but these were so amazing, I had to leave a review! I have sound sensitivity. I wore these to go to see Elton John by candlelight. I am so impressed at how well they worked. I took one out during the concert, and the music was so loud! I was sat in the front row. I could still hear everything, just at a much quieter level. I could even hear my friend, who was sat next to me, talking to me clearly during the concert. They are really comfortable to wear. I could hear my own voice, which I don’t mind. It stopped me from overstraining my voice. I love the way they come in different colours! I couldn’t hear the really high notes from the female singer, but that didn’t affect my experience of the concert at all! My ears weren’t ringing after the concert, like they normally would be. I can’t recommend them enough! I was even showing them to everyone I met at the concert! I love my loops so much, that I’m going to order the engage 2 when the colour I like comes back in stock!

Helped with tinnitus post-gig!
I found myself having a bunch of post-COVID rescheduled gigs coming up and knew my tinnitus would be a significant issue, so thought I'd invest in some proper earplugs. I went with the Loop Plus and am very glad I did! Even in arena gigs, I tend to struggle for a good 3-4 days afterwards with ringing, but after a loud rock gig in a relatively small indoor venue wearing the Loop Pluses, I was absolutely fine the following day. Noise reduction was significant but without degrading the music too much. Drums, vocals and bass were all easily distinguished although the high-frequency lead guitar was muted -- however, the mix was pretty muddy even without the earplugs, so YMMV. I also found that I could speak to friends next to me without pulling the earplugs out -- so overall, a great balance between noise reduction and sound fidelity. Generally, the Pluses were comfortable -- although I didn't have a "Goldilocks" size for my right ear, it wasn't uncomfortable but I did have a bit of pressure from wearing after 2 hours of music. The price point is pretty high, but the variety of tips and inner sound baffle colours, as well as the mini carry case, as well as the overall performance, meant they are worth it to me.

Atrocious ear protection. Do NOT buy if you want total protection
I’m a sound engineer and I work in construction, so I need to protect my hearing. I gave into the marketing and bought these thinking they would be good for my needs. And no. Great marketing, fantastic packaging, comfortable and they look great, but none of that is what matters, the performance is dreadful. Even among bad earplugs, these wouldn’t be anything special. If their job is to mildly reduce noise by a barely perceptible level, then they work great. But if you want to save your hearing, these are a terrible choice. Cheap disposable foam buds work better than these. And don’t cost almost €40, There’s overpriced, and then there’s these.

Great for loud practice sessions
Great for drumming, concerts or any loud noise environment that could damage your hearing, or if you have sensory problems this is great at noise reduction. it’s EXTREMELY difficult to change ear tips though, and they do sometimes fall out, other than that it’s great value for money and is high quality

They filter unwanted sounds
These earbuds are perfect at filtering unwanted background noise. For the naysayers: these earbuds are not meant for sleeping. What they do is, reduce/filter sounds that are often overwhelming and distracting. I am able to have a nice conversation with someone sitting close to me without hearing the many different background noises.

Super

Nice discreet design, reduces unpleasant noise while still being able to hear conversations
I've been sensitive to loud and high-pitched sounds since I was little and recently developed tinnitus in one ear so I decided to invest in better quality earplugs to protect my ears. These are discreet enough to not catch attention (could be mistaken as wireless earphones so they don't make me feel self-conscious compared to the cheap brightly colored foam 100 yen earplugs that I used prior) and come with a compact storage case (I attached a phone strap for easy access in my bag). The first time I wore these outside, I was waiting at a tram stop and the sound of high-pitched car/tram brakes (which would always cause me visible distress in the form of me wincing in pain while covering my ears which would at times catch people's attention as they look at me with confusion/concern) did not cause me intense physical pain for the first time. I also remember how the sound of cars passing as the wheels rolled on the pavement sounded like gentle ocean waves which felt almost soothing... It felt like a moment of revelation - it made me wonder "wow, is this how people with 'normal' hearing perceives these sounds?" I am grateful for these earphones and wish the best of luck to others with hearing sensitivity on their journey to find ways to reduce auditory pain/distress.

Never knew hi-fi earplugs could exist and look this good!
I bought these because I have some noisy neighbours that kept waking me up in the morning with their thumping and banging. From the first night I used these, I slept through the night and woke up feeling more well rested! I also bought them with the intention to use them for concerts, movies, and other outings. Watching a movie was a great experience - the audio channel lets some upper mid and high frequencies through which allows for a natural, less muffled sound that you usually get with regular ear plugs. You can expect that bass and lower mid frequencies will get a bit muddy as they usually do, but what surprised me with these is how natural everything sounds - the first time I wore them it almost felt like they weren't doing much, but I realized that loud sounds no longer had as much impact on the eardrums, but still retained some detail. The build quality of these is great - I can't foresee anything going wrong with them, and they are very comfortable. I was concerned about sleeping with them, but I can sleep comfortably on my side without them causing any pressure points in the folds of my ears. For reference, my ears are fairly averaged size, so if you have small ears, it may or may not be an issue. The package comes with a wide variety of tips in both silicone and foam, which are great options to have. I've only been using the silicone tips which are very comfy and provide a good seal. I have yet to use the mutes, but from testing them at home, they do provide a very slight additional drop in decibels, although they cause you to lose a bit of detail in the mid and high frequencies since the channel is closed off. All in all, a fantastic product that I highly recommend for its sound quality, construction, and comfort.
